President Bush is now ex-President Bush. All kidding aside, I have to admit I've been very impressed with the class shown by the former President and First Lady. Cheney in a wheelchair makes him look even more sinister, if that's possible.

I read a lot of theories about why he needed the wheelchair: he injured himself, not packing, but burning and shredding documents; or, he's taken such poor care of his health that he's declined to the point that he just can't walk. My personal theory is that being in a wheelchair gave him an excuse not to have to stand for the first black president. I really wouldn't put it past him.

Purely for the schadenfreude.

I really wouldn't put it past him.

I don't think it was anything that sinister.. I think it was a hurt back from trying to move his man sized safe. (yes, he actually has one) Seeing him in the wheelchair, he only needed a white cat in his lap to pass as a James Bond villain.
