I'd thought of that myself. The most heartbreaking aspect of this entire, well, fiasco. I don't really want to go anymore. But mother and father are quite adamant.

We could all use a bit of a celebration. My parents have offered to throw a going away party, but I would rather just call it a gathering. "Going away" is a rather scary concept for me at the moment.
