I e-mailed the graduate school today just to make sure that they had my GRE scores on file and to ask if I needed to send copies of my transcripts to them. I received the following e-mail back.
Oh crap! I hate hate hate dealing with college bureaucracy. WWU was waaay worse than UW for me in that way, for some reason. I really hope that things can be remedied without too much stress. So much love to you!! xxoo
Wait, I don't understand. They're asking if you want to attend graduate school next Fall (september 08) and asking if you graduate then. Don't a lot graduate students graduate in Spring then attend graduate school that next fall? So it's a problem that they think you will graduate in September instead of four months earlier in May?
Just trying to understand. I'm a little dense right now. :)
I am sorry. My post is sort of crazy confusing. i was crabby and stressed when I posted it.
I applied to graduate at the end of Spring quarter (in June), but somehow my application was processed as if I had applied to graduate at the end of Fall quarter in December. This is a problem because i cannot start a graduate program until I have graduated, and according to the system, I am not graduating until December of 2008. I need to have June 08 listed as my "anticipated date of graduation" so they can admit me to a graduate program which starts Sept 08
I hope that makes sense, or maybe it is just more confusing.
The main point of the post is that i need to get the registrar's office to change my date of anticipated graduation. It is something that sounds like it would be simple, but is apparently very complicated, time consuming, and probably even costly. so annoying.
