This morning, my father called to tell me that my Great Grandmother has only a few weeks left of life. If I can I'll go home this weekend and see her. She taught me to read and write and I believe deep inside I owe her everything. She accepted me for who I was when everyone else in the family treated me like a commie hippie fag traitor. I love her
