For several of my loved ones who are doing the back-to-school thing, here's a recommendation on an LJ thrift community for a company that rents college textbooks. It's kind of a Netflix type thing. One person said she spent $66 for the semester rental on almost $400 worth of textbooks, which is considerably more cash in your pocket than you'd get
