Its been forever since I updated. I'm working again, at the cable company. Been there for 3 weeks, and its pretty boring. I key in utility invoices all day long, sounds thrilling doesn't it? I had two other interviews last week. One was for a company in Rock Hill and I'm still waiting to hear if he has made his decision between me and two ( Read more... )

This has been the year of bad things happening to cars. :/

I really need to get more serious about looking for another job.
Good luck on your breakfast interview Monday.

You wanting to quit your job at the cafe or just get two jobs? Well, good luck either way.

I think the interview went pretty well today, just waiting to hear back. I can't wait to put in my two weeks at my work.

I guess I'll get two jobs? I really don't know. I just know I need to do something. :/

I'm glad your interview went well. I need to work on getting myself some more interviews, but it's hard to plan around the whole no-car thing.

People get so stuck on degrees... I work with a group of people, all of whom have degrees and are total morons, I end up doing 90% of their work and they make way more than I do... I hope that things work out well with your interview.

Car shopping sucks big time... we are driving out to Washington tomorrow to look at a car that might be good, or might be bad... the owner does not seem to know.

Out of curiosity, what is wrong with the Dan-mobile? I have always understood that Nissan's are fairly easy to work on for most things excluding water pumps, internal engine components, and *shudder* transmissions.

Well, he wanted someone who knew how to do stuff that I don't know how to do. I guess it is stuff you learn when you get an accounting degree. If I had known the things he needed me to know, I think he would have hired me for the position.

Dan's car just had lots of little things wrong with it. It had lots of miles on it, the a/c was broke, needed two more tires, something with the brakes needed to be worked on. I know it wasn't anything very serious, but it all adds up, when we'd probably have to get a new car eventually anyway.
