I'm pretty sure I have a job. Its for a well known cable company. I know, yuck. But, its a job. I filled out the background check papers and took my drug test on Friday. No job yet. I've been living in seclusion lately. Dan started his new job today. Well, that's all I feel like updating today. La-di-da, going back to being bored now.

Well, I hadn't heard anything as of yesterday, so I called the guy I did my interview with. He was really nice, and told me that him, the owner and the guy I did my phone interview with are all meeting today to make a decision. So I should hear something by monday. I'm just happy he didn't tell me that they had decided to go with someone else.

We've been pretty bored, and not much else to do besides watching movies. Friday we watched Idiocracy directed by Mike Judge, the same guy who did Office Space. It's pretty much about the world "dumbing down". It was pretty funny. It's actually kinda scary if you think about it. You could actually see some truth in this movie ( Read more... )

I had a phone interview last Thursday, and another interview last night. I think I did pretty good. The guy (who wasn't the owner) said they would be making their decision by the end of this week. All this damn waiting is gonna give me a ulcer. This job would be perfect for me. I really, really, really want it.

Everyone needs to wish me luck. RIGHT NOW! I'm not gonna talk about it, cuz I don't wanna jinx it.
