Yes... when I first got here the mayor mentioned there was a terrorist organization here that was attacking people. I heard conflicting accounts of what they were called, though... he asked me to intervene but I want to find out more first.

Well, I donno about zombies... but I found an umbrella! Do you want it? It's kinda dusty and tattered though... eh.

Anyway. There's supposed to be a police force here, but I haven't seen much of them. I think the mayor is just trying to act like he knows what's going on in his own city.

And I don't pretend to know much about running a city, but as a police officer myself... it's troubling that there isn't one. What if something bad happened?

Coming from another world? That's just ridiculous. There's no scientific explanation for it...

I always wanted to be a crime scene investigator, before I got recruited into S.T.A.R.S..

Well, I'm from Earth! Most of the people I've met haven't even heard of chemistry or science or anything I know about, so just the fact you're a crime scene investigator is very reassuring to hear.

And S.T.A.R.S. is the Special Tactics And Rescue Service. We were a special division of the Raccoon City Police Department who were assigned jobs too hard for the regular police to handle.
