Well, talk about an incredible recovery. From being frail looking and walking around like an old, old cat a few days ago, Biscuit is making an amazing recovery. He even pounced on my toes while I was making the bed this morning. Here is some photographic evidence how well he is looking. These were taken today, and before you ask, no I have not photoshopped his eyes. They really are the most incredibly sky blue colour. Even the vet nurse remarked on them on the weekend. Siamese always have the most beautiful blue eyes, but whereas Zeus has dark sapphire blue eyes, Biscuit has sky blue. Anyway, here are the pics:

Sitting on the armchair in my room that serves as 'kitten nursery' for every cat that comes into the house.

(yes, he does have a slight striping to his tail, which IS technically a breed fault with a lilac point, but I didn't buy him for his looks, but his personality)

On my desk enjoying the morning sun through my window

Curled up with 'uncle' Zeus

And just to show there is no favouritism, remember these two? They have GROWN! Lucy Boo and Nacho, also enjoying the morning sun in my room.

And do you remember this little guy? This was last November - about three months ago.

And this is Seth (known in the family as Snack) today - isn't he soooo sleek?

Of course, we have to have the obligatory photo of Ra'zac!

The funniest thing with Ra'zac is that his eyes are actually very round, not oriental at all - it's just that the camera keeps catching him with them half closed (probably something to do with the anti-red-eye double flash).

In other news we are glorying in a week at home where we don't have to go anywhere. As it was finally cool enough yesterday and there were no kitten emergencies I did some long overdue cleaning. There is more scheduled for the weekend when the weather will be cool enough then. I reoganised my desk (to accommodate kitten traffic to and from the fish bowl which Biscuit is using as a waterbowl..lol), swapped the roses on my desk for some nice orchids and generally tidied it up. Lots more room there now!

When I was done cleaning and heading for a much needed bath, my toe caught the cord of the vacuum which somebody...*looks meaningfully at tygrr* ... had left strung across my bedroom doorway. My toe somehow rolled under my foot and as I was stepping forward at the time, I promptly stood on it, sprang backwards at the speed of light to avoid the incredible pain this produced, partially sprained my ankle and by the feels of it today, wrenched just about every bloody muscle in my arm, back and neck to do so! The toe itself is swollen and bruised today. It hurts to walk. It hurts to move, turn my neck, use my arms or do anything much, so in the interests of pain avoidance, I am sitting still and writing an entry.

What????

Ok, so I'm a sook.. bite me...:P
