Nature has a wonderful way of reminding you that it's worth taking time out to notice the world around yourself.

Five galahs flew past me on my way to work this morning, closer than I would think was usual for them; they were chattering away amongst themselves and it was just a beautiful moment. Likewise, on Monday evening, I was walking to my support group meeting and a fruit bat flew around me - a full 360 degrees before flying off.

It's little things like that which reinforce in me why life's worth living, rather than just surviving through.

Oh, and my glass is full of vodka, plus it's been touched by the genie from the Tim Tam ads: it's sometimes half-full, sometimes half-empty, but always keeps magically refilling itself before it's too late. :)

.... and that, my friend, is exactly what life is like if only we open our eyes to see it....*smiles*
