No longer a virgin (with pics to prove it)

Well, no longer an E-bay virgin at least! I had been talking to my friend Tanya about how to sell stuff on ebay, as I had some things I thought I might sell and ebay seemed the place to do it. She got to discussing things with me, including a particular item I've been looking for. Well, so far I've not put anything up for sale but I DID take her advice and looked at what I wanted.

It was very particular - a figaro design solid stirling silver neckchain, which I shall place on foxy's neck when I decide to permanently collar him. I'd been looking around at various ones in the stores and they are very expensive as we have to get one that is sturdy enough to last a lifetime. They usually retail for between $300 and $500, depending on the store.

Well, thanks to ebay I have bought one (new) for $149! It was just waaaaay too much of a bargain to leave there. I've never done the whole bidding thing before, and to say it was nerve-wracking is to say the least! I really couldn't afford much over the reserve price at the moment but figured I could just squeak it in if no one else bid. And no one did! Yay!

This is the design:

So now I have to do the money order and send it off to the seller and within about a week it should be here. Why so soon? Because I managed to find it in Adelaide, so that is even better... *does a happy dance*

Now I have to check out some tattooists and get quotes for his tattoo as he will be given my mark, my dragon, when I collar him too. I suspect that will by far be the most expensive part of it, as tattoos are not cheap these days! I have to find one that can do the job and replicate the same dragon as I have on my back - all of which takes time. Still, there is no rush as I'm not collaring him any time soon. It is good to know the chain is taken care of though.

In other news, LOLA IS BACK!!!!!!

YAY!!!!!!!

I have MISSED my little car so much. It's been two and a half weeks. And when they brought her back, they'd washed her for me too, so she looks all spic and span again.

Here she is:

Not a bad looker for an old girl, eh? She'll be 20 years old next year! At the moment her seat covers are all pink and black. Very scmick and girly, just how I like it!

So we have wheels again! Double yay!

Oh, and they say good things come in threes, right? Well on the weekend we got a visit from my friend Snow and his girl amanda. Snow is in the bdsm Lifestyle as well and is what is known as a swtich, meaning he is sometimes Dom and sometimes submissive. He used to be my submissive years ago, before I even met tygrr, but it didn't work out. However, we stayed good friends and now he is amanda's Dominant.

While they were here we were talking smokes and stuff, and he remarked on the zippo I was using which was a smaller one than the classic style of zippo. I commented that my favourite one - a black one with a silver dragon on it - wasn't working, and I had no idea why. Well, that darling man fixed it while he was here, and taught me how to fix it should it happen again. It was simply a matter of replacing the flint and adjusting it correctly. He also showed me how to pack the wick so that it burns best etc. I was so stoked to have my dragon zippo back.

Other than that things have been quiet here. Foxy mowed the lawns on the weekend, and I'm finding my fingers itching more and more to get my garden under control now the lawns are looking so neat, but I have to be sensible. If I don't want the scar on my back to stretch I really shouldn't be pulling out weeds just yet.

Now school has resumed we are getting into a routine at last. I've been writing again, and foxy's been attending to the chores. I often do the cooking, although he tends to throw me out of the kitchen as often as he can, telling me he has to do his share of cooking as well or he feels bad. Last night I did chicken with a cream and garlic sauce on a bed of rice. Yum!

Tomorrow we have a lot of bureaucratic running around to do, and then tomorrow night Tanya is coming over for another Nintendo battle. I do rather like our games. I love how competitive we all are - all in good fun though. I just like to stretch my abilities and be challenged. I think that's why I enjoy riding a motorbike so much too as I'm not a very co-ordinated or physically strong person, and it challenges me. It's a neat feeling as I feel myself grow stronger and master the skills I need to ride.

Now though, troll will be home shortly, so I might just take my daughter out for a treat - IN MY CAR!!!!!! And then I shall be back to work with my writing as she does her homework.

Did I mention I have Lola back?

*grins*
