It's been a nice day today. Nothing important has happened but it's been a nice relaxing weekend and I feel well rested and ready for work tomorrow. I'm making a special dinner for the family seen as it's Mother's Day, and it's special not because of the food but because I never, and I mean never, cook :D! Not a good day today - we just had to have our dog put to sleep. She was 10 and had cancer. She'd been ill for the past 6 months and was getting steadily worse but today she got a whole lot worse very quickly. She was walking around all confused and disoriented, it was awful to watch. Yay! Today is a good day - the new series of BG starts tonight on SkyOne and I've been offered a job. It's a short film and it's only for a week but it's something. And it couldn't have come at a better time as I was lying in bed last night feeling very sorry for myself wondering why noone wanted to employ me. And now they do! Woot!

I knew being out of work had to have a higher purpose! And I've discovered what it is - I've found myself a new ship! Woohoo! *points to pic* Adama and Roslin from Battlestar Galactica - they rock! :D lol

I miss Sex and The City. That's all, I just miss it. It's one of those those that makes you think that maybe, just maybe, all your dreams are possible :).

It's kinda sad when you don't get excited about your birthday anymore. I actually had to keep reminding myself it was today lol and that's not a good sign! But I suppose the more birthdays you have the less special they are. I'm also a bit depressed about finishing work on Friday. One is back from Benidorm looking nicely tanned. Holiday was nice and relaxing and sunny which is the most important thing ;). And I picked up my new car today, well my first car actually as I've been borrowing my parents for the past 6 years lol! It's a new model VW Polo and it's lovely and black and quite sporty looking.
