It's the end of the world as we know it, and I feel fiiine~
Hi everyone! Mari here. The mod team has been closeted away in its own private Fortress of Solitude. We each went into our own hyperbaric chambers with an assortment of lemurs, venus fly traps, and obsidian statues of Kali the Destroyer. There, we attached electrodes to all eighteen of our chakras while the animals played smooth jazz covers of ACDC. We then threw ourselves into a meditative state while high on paste and Mr. Sketch markers.
It was while we were peering through our collective mind's eye at George Takei and Bob Saget as they lectured us on the importance of a 401K and proper elevator etiquette that it came to us.
What thing, you might ask? It's that thing that is better than diamonds or two tickets to that thing you love. Yes, that thing. That plot you've all been waiting for. The time is now!
First and foremost, there is a Carnival log to handle. This time around, I am going to be organizing things. What I need to know right now is which characters have ICly committed to venturing into Carnival to look for Mother? Not who is planning to get involved, but all those who have already ICly committed or expressed interest.
Secondly, we have some interesting opportunities for people who would like to permanently drop their characters or get their characters more involved in plot!
I will start a thread for our Carnival plotting, and another thread for plot volunteers.
YOU SHOULD ALL BE AWARE that we will be trying to wrap all of this up before Christmas. Your mods are ambitious and insane, possibly from too much spiked eggnog.
What does this mean for all of you?
This means that if you are involved in plot, if you are involved in a thread that is at all plot related, we need you to committ only if you are available and can keep on top of your tags. We have a lot going on, a lot to accomplish, and we cannot under any circumstances have any log-idling. Communicate with the people in your threads, communicate with your mods. Tags can and will be skipped if we need to keep a scene chug-chug-chugging along.
I'm not trying to be Mean-Mommy-Mari here, because the modteam loves you all dearly, and Redd loves you all in a "Show us on the dolly where he touched you" kinda way, but I have to impress upon all of you that this shit is happening, come hell or high water or cardinals, one way or another.
It's going to be a crazy ride and we hope that you all enjoy having your characters dragged kicking and screaming the whole way. Your lovely mods will be in chat whenever they're able to answer questions and concerns, and once I get an idea of who's signed up for Carnival, I'll be opening a chat to discuss with everyone how we'll be running the scenes.

EDIT 1: For those of you volunteering for plot related event things, please clarify if your character is one you want hurt seriously, dropped permanently, if you want a moment of bamfyness, etc. Not all volunteers requests will be accepted but all those who sign up will be considered. So, yes, please clarify the type of involvement you're signing them up for.
