[TEAM A: OPERATION HOW DO I STEER THIS THINGAs noted on Meth's communicator, at the end of the now unlocked crew quarters is a steel elevator. It only has one button, which takes the passengers down, down, down into the very bowels of the now silent ship ( Read more... )

Alright mons, let's get goin' befuh dis boat decides to crack in half.

[Kevas waits by the stairs for the rest who decided to join him in the search for Mother. With the help of Remy, at least they won't be searching all over the damn boat now. The quicker they can get this done the quicker they can get this boat moving again.

Remy's already here, now he's just got to wait for the others.]

*Marco had kept an eye on Remy and Kevas, so as soon as the troll says he's ready, Marco is there.*

[Vincent is, once again, going on this trip. He's never been good with machines, and that includes things like piloting a boat, and after what he saw in Carnival he's worried about Mother.

But he'll be quiet about it, for now.]

[Link is far from in good shape and covered in bandages, but he wants to do everything he can to help -- even if he isn't exactly sure what's going on here on this search mission. If there's something he can do, Link is determined to be around to do it, so he's there along with everyone else once Kevas is ready.]

(Ooc: Current circumstances are probably going to make me scarce tonight but feel free to assume Link is there. He doesn't have to do anything significant unless necessary and if I can't be there, godmod rights are to whomever needs them.)

[And they're off.

It's a disturbing elevator ride, to say the least. Especially considering the last time he went down. The mutiny. But he refuses to let fear stop him. Not now. Upon reaching the floor, he eases out, cannons at the ready, just in case. Whoever followed him needs cover while they work, after all.]

Get moving. Sooner we start this thing, the better. Find anything that looks like an ignition.

((ooc: going to be scarce. I'm sorry. Something came up. Godmod rights to whomever makes sense. Consider the big guy lurking by the doors.))

[Kim ignores Ironhide (for once) in favor of examining the buttons for labels, and the rest of the interface for anything else. It's true, this qualifies as an emergency, but....well. Observation, hypothesis and then action.]

Hmmm. I have an idea.

[Experimentally, she put a finger on the pin]

If this marks our current location, one of the ends of this line must be the golden shore. It doesn't look like much, but if we move the pin...

[A shrug, pointing at the plastic hammer]

Or you could try that thing.

[Beside the pin is a circle looping the line. It has arrows scribbled all around it, pointing directly at it. There's a footnote that says "transdimensional thingamajig".]

[Karis reaches out a bony hand toward the pin.]

I say we just move it. Worst that happens is we all die.
