Heard from cocked brow, he's in poole at the mo, nowhere near.
no-one else would have been in central, we're waiting to hear karen's ok, but i know she was on leave so wouldn't have gone in.
Paul says hi, he checked with us to see that we're all ok.

Is anybody else having trouble with the phone network? My attempts to call people aren't having too much success.

The police are telling people to stay where they are. The bus service has been stopped in zone 1, and the tubes are not running at all. Liverpool Street station is closed. Nothing is going anywhere. So just stay safely at home or at work.

There is no specific detail on the news at the moment. There have been 6 confirmed explosions - 1 on a bus in Tavistock Square, and the rest on the tube network. Officially the Tube explosions are due to "power surges". But nobody really believes that. All the experts are talking about terrorists.

No word on fatalities, but it sounds like there are several.

We'll keep the news on, and keep you posted.
