I am completely floored by this turn of events! **hugs** Whatever happened you have my support. I am sending up prayers and wishing you only good things to balance out the difficulties. Now, about the gift certificate. Could I talk you into letting me buy one for a short Snape/Hermione fanfic in which Hermione goes back in time? I have some ideas if you need inspiration. Although, I don't know how much time you would be able to devote to it given the circumstances. But I was hoping for maybe 5-10 chapters? I don't know. Tell me what you think. I will buy a gift certificate either way. ^ ^
Actually, it is illegal to sell fanfiction. But I could be paid to "help" you put "your" fanfiction ideas on paper in a cohesive story form. It would be your story. I would just serve as beta, editor, proofreader and write the transcript. I probably wouldn't be able to start it until the end of October, maybe the middle if things go smoothly. I'm trying to raise $230 to pay the electric deposit or else I can't move in. :( Actually, it's $380 but they agreed to take $230 and tack on $75 extra for the next 2 months. When I reach that goal, the certificates won't be available for a while. I don't want to have too many projects. I won't be actively moving until after the 1st. I have until the 5th to be cleared out. I'm sure we could work something out.
I didn't mean to put you in a bad spot with the comment implying that I would buy fanfiction. I only meant that I would be willing to help out and then buy the gift certificate in case of a rainy editing day for one of my own papers or something. Just let me know when you will have time to do a work up for a fanfiction separate from the gift certificate and I would be happy to provide details on an SS/HG fic idea. Your work is the best, as always. **hugs** ^ ^
