Hermione dear, it was a joy to have you - and your cat. Putz obviously thought it was his birthday and has been purring non-stop ever since.

I was very glad of your company both over the weekend and on Friday night. Being alone in such a situation could have been very dangerous - for me rather than for you, I think - so thanks for sticking with me. Also over the weekend it was nice to have someone to chat to while Remus and Ben were busy drowning in each others eyes.

As for being discrete you should have seen the state my shins were in! Every time I opened my mouth to demand details someone kicked me - and I'm still not sure who. Never mind - I'll take you to lunch one day this week, just the two of us and you can fill me in then and I promise I won't even tell Kings!!
