Josie's computer needed a new mobo and processor, so we got them (plus a new video card) and are working on getting it all installed. As far as I know, it's all looking good. Here's the problem(s

Not one with enough wattage to support it. It's not much short though. The mobo says 400w or better. My spare is 350w. Try it or not?

I was thinking I'd take it to the shop down the street tomorrow and see if they'll test the power supply for me. I was suspecting that too.

Okay. Tried that. It still turns on without pushing the button. Now it doesn't give me the post beep, and it doesn't shut off. But there's still no output to the monitor. The fans all spin still. And the LEDs still come on.
