Finally, after scraping up the old asphalt, picking at the difficult spots, scooping, and sweeping then picking, scooping and sweeping around more for the last week the paving company is finally going to actually pave the street tomorrow

Yes. After literally spinning a couple of circles in the kitchen I went out, drove the 2 blocks to the 2 store strip mall I shop at, got everything I needed and back home in about 40 minutes. What's so hard about that? I haven't figured that out yet.

Good thing I did though. About an hour after I got back they started paving to empty what was still in the hopper from the next street over. They only covered a small area and are back this morning to scrape, pick and sweep more. Little Kybota bucket loaders are dumping old asphalt on a nearby empty lot. Are we starting over? lol... should be all day entertainment (actually, I have a ton of yard clean up to do once it warms up).
