Yeah, it really was a shitty birthday this week, but... I hate saying that when I know that those (my friends, family and coworkers) who DO care about me and ARE NOT mad at me because of my mother's cheap lies tried so hard to make it nice.
They really did a great job... it's just that when your family that you were once so close with is taken from you or not talking to you... there's going to be a void--a void that cannot be cheered up with inside jokes, small gifts or funny stories from your friends. It's nothing against them, they did a wonderful job and they put their heart and soul into it 100%, but (my) family is my life and the fact that they weren't there, not for the gifts, but that they weren't there to celebrate or even wish me a happy birthday... it's a little frustrating.
Thanks for the comment though!! It's always good to know that someone is thinking of you.
What's the deal with your family and mom? Sounds like you had a rough road throughout most of your life. How did you find out about your moms 'line of work'. I can't see ANYONE having that career without doing drugs. Maybe she needs to go to rehab or something. I really feel so bad for you. You are such a pretty girl. Is that a recent photo?
No, lol, my mom really is not in that profession. It's sort of like a joke... I dunno, I guess you have to know the whole story.
Thanks about the birthday thing--it wasn't as bad as it could have been I guess.
Some rough spots in life...as everyone else does. I shouldn't complain though... a lot of people have it worse than I do. Just had to go through a lot at a young age, but thanks for the concern. It's always nice to hear.
That photo is not of me... Kaylee is my [cousin], this is/was her journal. She started the journal and used my email address, so since all of her friend's comments and such were coming to my email, I would reply once in awhile. Then, I saw that my friends had one so I use this journal (hers) to log onto my friend's "Friends Only" sites to comment and what not.
