The skinny: I'm moving from the East coast to SF for work and eventually grad school, and I need a place to live in August/September. I'm scouring Craig's List and prodding my SF friends to find leads and figured dropping a note on Livejournal as well couldn't hurt.
Me: I am 25, a writer, vegan, non-smoker, and tidy with a tidy cat. I'm into communicating with my housemates, and do so in a open manner (not through passive-aggressive notes left around the house). I'm respectful and responsible. I dig yoga, making art, dancing, poetry slams, dinner parties, gardening, and exploring the city.
Ideal Situation: I'd love cooperative or semi-cooperative housing. An eco-village would be amazing, or at least a "green"- minded household. Non-indoor smokers, queer-friendly, left-leaning, feminists, activists, artists, and good communicators would be ideal. I am happy to live with any gender or sexual preference, and want to keep a vegetarian kitchen (where I will make delicious dinners and vegan baked goods galore!)
I can afford $900, but would prefer utilities be included at that price.
Any tips/leads/takers?
Thanks,
Michelle
