I might have to reread Godchild with you, despite the dangers of my trying to navigate what is essentially an emotional obstacle course with bishies. Or Izare is going to make a genuine cameo in some scene where they're looking for Jizabel in a gay bar of something. :p That's on top of the chaos that is buidling in my brain as Crehador/Cain, Cain/Riff, Merry/Oscar and Crehador/Merry combine in my head. If I keep writing this, somebody is going to shoot me for violation of canon. It might not even be a Godchild fan - the Aegis fans will find me. :p

YAY! I read volume 1 yesterday, and started on volume 2. It's actually really good, I'd forgotten a lot of what happened as well. And oh mah Lord, Cain sexes it up big time in that first chapter, boy knows how to work it. Crehador just entered volume 2 and I had a big fangirly moment of joy.

Then again, I am yet to hit the truly trying part of what you so aptly describe as an emotional obstacle course. Everything is still (comparatively) cheerful. Only the secondary characters are being brutally betrayed/dying in painful ways.
