Fangirl
I think I have always been a massive fangirl, I just didn't realise it until I discovered LJ and fandom at large. :p I mean, back when I was young, innocent, and not reading boy on boy porn, I fangirled over Garret from Quest for Camelot and Shang from Mulan, I just didn't know I was fangirling. Harry Potter got me reading fic, butterflygirl_3 got me onto LJ, and the rest just sort of happened. One day I got bored and decided I wanted to read manga online on a whim, and as a result of that random whim I now have a harddrive full of the stuff, and a folder of fanart. :p
I think the fangirl gene might be hereditary, because my mother is as bad as I am, she just hasn't embraced it as I have. :p
Writing
I love it, I don't do nearly enough of it. I always wanted to have a book published before I turned 17, but I have scaled back my ambitions a little now. :p Mainly because I'm 18, and I still haven't actually written a book. I think getting older has made me a little less optimistic, a lot more realistic and a lot less confident in my abilities. If you'd told me three years ago that I'd be writing NC-17 slash fanfiction, I might have slapped you. Things, how they change.
Witticism
Something I appreciate very much. I often wish I was wittier, but having resigned myself to the fact I am not always as funny as I could be, I'm just going to stock up on Oscar Wilde quotes to whip out when they occasion calls for it. After all, quotation is a serviceable substitute for wit. ;)
Internet
As I found out when I house-sat, I don't cope well with no interent. Or slow internet. I am perpetually hollering at my sister to stop downloading things, because when she downloads everything slows down and I can't download. Hypocrisy? Neh.
Intelligence
I like to think I am intelligent. I also tend to be excessively and unreasonably judgemental when it comes to people who I don't consider intelligent. Still, I'm working on that. I'm working on trying to alter my mindset and appreciate the fact that just because somebody isn't very academic, they can have a different type of intelligence.
And I'm getting to the picspam, I promise. :p
