Watching and knitting
It's cold outside. I did go out there and lose my purse in Paperchase, The nice manager had safely locked it in a box for me. All too exciting. I came home to watch House and knit. Trying to make sure my batteries are fully charged for two weeks of mad mad work starting next Friday, when I mostly be in Birmingham, And Oxford, And Wales.

Austeja and I left work early cos everyone else got to because of the snow. There was no snow so we went to the cinema...
I loved it. It was just great.

Having left my phone on silent for some reason, I picked it up today and it told me that Wood wanted me to visit. This pleased me and also caused my eyes to fill with tears. Not having finished with me yet, phone informed me that Austeja was inviting me to an exhibition this afternoon.

In any one day JVC volunteers will be… accompanying an asylum seeker to court… supporting someone with learning difficulties to speak out for their rights… baking bread with homeless people… helping someone learn to read… making a cup of tea… guiding a blind person… growing vegetables with refugees… supporting someone in an art project… playing ( Read more... ) -
Cleaning up your act.
I will not allow myself to dwell on the fact I am not healthy enough to clean my flat in an afternoon. I will not think on the floor unmopped since November and still unmopped because I ran out of breath. Yesterday was tough, i spent three hours or so trying to do two simple tasks which I probably could have done in 15 minutes if I hadn't been too proud to ask someone for help. tipsy laughter
Thanks to those who responded to my last post, I will reflect on it when sober.
