Here's what they want Associate Manager, Events & Promotions

Center Theatre Group, L.A.'s premier non-profit theatre company, seeks an Associate Manager, Events & Promotions to join its energetic marketing team. Reporting to the Associate Director of Marketing, the Associate Manager, Events & Promotions is responsible for developing and executing promotional and marketing initiatives for a variety of productions and events in CTG's three theatres, the Ahmanson Theatre, Mark Taper Forum and Kirk Douglas Theatre. Primary responsibilities include researching and aggressively pursuing media, retail and web based promotions; executing partnerships with local businesses, community organizations and affinity programs; attending events and fairs; assisting with opening nights; and collaborating on the department's various marketing initiatives.

Ideal candidate will be an organized, detail-oriented self-starter who is able to work under pressure in a fast paced environment. REQUIREMENTS: Minimum of two years experience with proven success in marketing, public relations or promotions. Excellent written and verbal communications skills, sense of humor, professionalism, creativity and willingness to take aggressive initiative.
