How to address worry in your kid?

A week or so ago, Matt was trimming our cedar hedges in the back yard, some of this work involved a ladder. Wade and I were playing on the deck (in the back yard). It was hot. I'm so sorry this happened. But learning to deal with being upset by something will be good for her. And I'm sure you'll both be great models for her to emulate.

Yeah, I got nothin'. Prolly because I don't know how to talk to kids that age. Maybe it's an opportunity to dust off the old "you don't have to start worrying about things until you're a lot older"?

Also, tell Matt to not trim trees when it's hot out. The big dummy.
