Justin's grandmother who raised him up passed away yesterday. She had declined dramatically since she went into hospital three weeks ago, so in some ways it is a relief. She was soft and sweet and always kind to me. Justin will miss her so much.

Justin has passed all of his first university papers. Each step he has overcome new hurdles from participating in tutorials to writing personal narratives, then essays and then arguments. I am so excited that I am going to be hanging out in Melbourne for a week, going to see kick ass bands like Covenant and Haujobb. It almost makes up for being at the airport at 4 am in the morning.
