I'm back to my good ole' procrastinating ways. The H.M.C. box is shipping out on Tuesday. I still have to sew two more stamp pouches and add the ribbon tie to four stamp pouches that I did this morning. I started the logbook. But I made a slight error. Cadbury Cream Eggs have to be the work of the devil.
So much creamy, chocolatey goodness.
I think if they were widely available on a year round basis, I would seriously weigh 200 pounds.
And when you're 5'2", that ain't pretty. -
This is my life
There's something kind of sad about wandering around a grocery store on a Saturday night and dodging all the stockboys as they replentish the shelves and listening to the Muzak and thinking "Oh my god, is that frickin' Ironman?"
Saturday nights are my preferred time to go to the grocery store. Thank God for 24 hour Rainbows. -
Plans for the day
This is the first weekend in awhile that I haven't had to worry about grad school applications. I got a letter saying that the recommendation from my former professor finally arrived (the day before the application was due) and that my application is now complete and I should hear from them in 8-10 weeks as to their decision. Nerdy letterboxing stuff
I'm still in the planning stage for my Howl's Moving Castle postal letterbox log. All the stamps are carved. It's my first non-ring box. It launches next Tuesday, the 7th (the same day as the DVD release since I'm such a dork). I'm a bit disappointed that only 9 people answered the questions to receive it correctly. Lazy weekend
I had such a frustrating week at work. I've wanted to smack Jared several times for his constant whining. I found out that the one piece of my application that is missing is the recommendation from my old professor. It's out of my control and I'm freaking out. (Can we say control freak?) I think I need to take up geneology...
My parents went out to dinner with my great aunt this weekend. She's an absolutely fascinating woman (I say this every time I mention her, but's it true. One of the first women professors at UWM, etc, etc.) She's done lots of geneological research on my mother's father's side of the family and we learn more every time we talk to her.
