CHAPTER 1: THE FIRST
Hyukjae was five when she met Donghae for the first time. That night her father brought her and her mother to have a dinner at one of the finest restaurant in Seoul and meet his business colleague. Hyukjae’s father is one of the top businessmen in South Korea and so does his colleague. That’s when Hyukjae knew that her fate is already planned by her family.
“Hyukkie, honey this is Lee Donghae. He is the same age like you and one day later you will be his wife, you understand that?”
Hyukjae looks at her father and then to the little boy in front of her who is grinning happily. Hyukjae still doesn’t know what her father means but looking at the smiling boy in front of her and her smiling family, Hyukjae just smiles and nod. Hyukjae looks at the Donghae boy and he walks near her until he stands in front of her. Hyukjae took note that the boy is shorter than her at that time.
“Hi pretty angel my name is Donghae” Donghae offers his hand to Hyukjae and she hesitantly took it. She is a bit shy because Donghae called her pretty angel.
“My Appa said you will be my wife Hyukkie, so from now on you are mine, Lee Donghae’s girl. I will protect you and don’t get too close to other boy, arasso?” Donghae said, still smiling. Hyukjae was blushing red now that she just put her head down and nod a little.
Since that day Lee Donghae and Lee Hyukjae was never separated.
Hyukjae and Donghae were seven when Hyukjae got bullied at her first day at school. Those bullies are older than them and Donghae was out playing soccer with the other boys. Hyukjae was walking to the yard to look for Donghae with two cartoons of milk in her hand, one is chocolate and the other is strawberry while those big boys came to her.
“Yah you little spoiled girl!” Hyukjae look up and those boys were smirking.
“Give us those milk in your hand!” the biggest and tallest boy commanded. Hyukjae hide the milk on her back.
“These are mine.” Little Hyukjae chirped. The bullies didn’t stop, one of them went to he back and tried to take the milk but Hyukjae still fought for it. Another boy came and pushed little Hyukjae. Little Hyukjae got push to the wall and the three boys laughed at her. Hyukjae was crying at that time.
“Give me those back” Little Hyukjae said between her sob.
“You are rich, you can ask your father to buy more of these, so these are for me!”
Little Hyukjae cried louder and she remembered Donghae, in her mind she is calling for him and hoped Donghae would come to save her and the milks. Seeing little Hyukjae cried so hard, those bullies continued to bully her.
“Look at her crying, she looks like a monkey” One of them said and they laughed again.
“But I never see a monkey with red hair, look at her so ugly and thin. Hey, she might be one of those crazy people”
“Why?”
“Because her hair is red. I never see anyone with red hair before but my umma said people with strange hair color must be crazy” they laughed again and it made little Hyukjae cried louder while
calling for Donghae in her mind.
“Yah!”
Little Hyukjae and those bullies look at the source of voice. There standing at the end of corridor is none other than Lee Donghae holding his ball. He looked pissed. He went closer to Hyukjae and Hyukjae automatically stick her little hands to Donghae. Donghae took and caress them.
“It’s okay Hyukkie, Hae is here now” Little Donghae wiped the tears on Hyukjae’s cheek and Hyukjae nod.
Little Donghae looked back at those bullies and glared at them.
“Nobody makes Hyukkie cries like this! Nobody is allowed to hurt Lee Donghae’s girl!” Donghae said and then launched him self to the bullies, hit them and kicked them carelessly. Looking at Donghae like that, Hyukjae cried more which attracted the teacher’s attention. The teachers then separated Donghae and those bullies but Donghae got injured on his arm because of those bullies.
Little Donghae got scolded by the teachers because of that fight so when everybody is home, little Donghae must clean the classroom as punishment while those bullies got suspended from school. Little Hyukjae was waiting for little Donghae at the gate with her driver, feeling worried and sad for little Donghae. She also wanted to help cleaning the classroom with him but little Donghae objected it and pushed little Hyukaje from the classroom to just waited for him on the gate.
“Hyukkie….” Little Donghae shouted and waved his little hand to little Hyukjae. Little Donghae run to where little Hyukjae is. He was smiling but little Hyukjae was frowning.
“Hyukkie, lets go home now” Little Donghae said and then dragged little Hyukjae to her car. Little Hyukjae stand still and little Donghae looked at her.
“What happen, Hyukkie? Let’s go home…” Little Hyukjae just pulled Little Donghae and looked at his injured hand.
“Hae is hurt because of Hyukkie….” Little Hyukjae pouted while little Donghae just smiles.
“It’s okay Hyukkie, the teacher already put some medicine on it. Hae doesn’t feel hurt because Hyukkie is saved. Hyukkie is Hae’s right?” Donghae exclaimed but Hyukjae was still pouting.
“They took Hae’s chocolate milk too….”
“It’s okay, Hae will buy Hyukkie more milk later.” Donghae started to drag her again but Hyukjae tug his hand back. Donghae looked at her confusedly.
“Do I really look a monkey and ugly?” Little Hyukjae looked at little Donghae while pouting and some curiosity in her eyes. Little Donghae looked at her with big round confused eyes but then he broke into a smiling Donghae like always.
“Don’t believe what they said Hyukkie. You are an angel, the most beautiful girl in the whole world.” Donghae emphasized it with his hand gesture childishly.
“But they said I look ugly and they also said my hair is bad” Little Hyukjae started to tear up
“You have the prettiest hair Hyukkie and I like red, so don’t think that way anymore, ne? You don’t need to listen to them you are only allowed to listen to me because you are mine….”
Little Donghae smiled. He looked at the still pouting Hyukjae and then hugged her, that’s how his Appa makes his Umma smiles and he hoped it will work on little Hyukjae too. Hyukjae is a bit taken a back by Donghae’s action but at last she relaxed. That was the first time little Donghae hugged her like that. When Donghae let her go, she already smiled and they got home after that.
They were ten when Donghae first said those magic words to Hyukjae. They were playing at Donghae’s backyard that day. Hyukjae was looking at the flowers and smell them. She loves flowers so much and Donghae’s mother’s garden is her favorite. Donghae was following her wherever she went while holding her hand. For little Donghae those flowers are nothing to match Hyukjae’s beauty but this one flower caught his attention. The red rose. Little Donghae remembered that last night his Appa brought a bunch of those flowers for his Umma and his umma was really happy. Little Donghae grins and then let go of little Hyukjae’s hand to pick the pretty flower but the thorn hurt his finger. He didn’t cried, he wiped it off and comes back to where little Hyukjae was.
“Hyukkie, I’ve got something for you…” Little Hyukjae looked at little Donghae curiously and smiles her special gummy smiles.
“Hyukkie loves present!”
Little Donghae then showed the rose to little Hyukjae.
“Hyukkie, saranghae….” Little Donghae said, he imitated his Appa last night. Little Hyukjae was blushing but she took the flower nonetheless. In a slow voice little Hyukjae told little Donghae her answer.
“Hyukkie loves Hae too” Even though it’s just a whisper but little Donghae can hear it and he grins. He then hugs little Hyukjae possessively.
“Hyukkie is Lee Donghae’s girl….” Donghae said possessively.
Hyukjae was seventeen the first time Donghae kissed her. It happened when Donghae officially asked her to be his girlfriend and it’s on her birthday.
It was Hyukjae’s 17th birthday but the said girl decided not to throw a party. She just wanted to be with her parents, having dinner.Donghae’s parents are invited too because they are indeed a family. They were having dinner at Hyukjae’s house and everybody prepared their own present except one certain Lee Donghae. Hyukjae can’t believe it, of all people it’s Donghae who forgot about her present. It really made Hyukjae pissed.
“Hyukkie, what’s with the pout? You don’t like the dessert?” Hyukjae looked at her Umma and smiled a little.
“It’s nothing Umma”
“But you don’t look happy, it’s your birthday” Her umma said while smiling. The whole room attention was on Hyukjae right now.
“Yeah Hyukkie, what’s wrong?”
Donghae asked still with that stupid grin on his face. Hyukjae rolled her eyes at Donghae and gave him a glare.
“Oh it’s nothing Donghae, it’s just my self being stupid. I have no right to get mad to someone who forgets to bring me a birthday present, right? So I am not mad and stop talking to me!”
Hyukjae has taught to be a good and nice girl especially when they are having a dinner like this but Hyukjae seems to forget everything. Hyukjae closed her mouth immediately and looked at her Umma and Appa and then to Donghae’s parent. She felt embarrassed and but when she looked at Donghae, she found him chuckle and it only fueled her anger more. She was glaring at Donghae while suddenly the dining room broke into laughter
“Hyukkie, if you are talking about Donghae I am sure he didn’t leave the present intentionally sweetheart. Don’t be mad like that. He gave you present almost everyday.” Her Umma said. Hyukjae pouted and her Appa just laughed more.
“I am sorry Umma, Appa, Auntie, Uncle. I was being rude and I didn’t mean it”
Hyukjae said plainly and bowed to them. The dinner went smoothly after the commotion Hyukjae made but Hyukjae was still sulking at Donghae after that incident. She was currently sitting on her bed swing her Appa made for her near the pool when Donghae joined her.
“Hey angel….” Donghae said. Hyukjae looked at him and glared then inched away from him. Donghae chuckled and inched closer to her. Hyukjae moved away until the end of the swing. Donghae got closer and put his arm around Hyukjae’s shoulder.
“Why are you so mad, angel?”
“I hate you!” Hyukjae coldly said. Donghae just chuckled. Donghae inched closer to her and whispered.
“Hey angel, I was lying about forgetting your present earlier”
Hyukjae looked at Donghae with raised eyebrow. “Oh really now?”
Donghae just nodded and took out something from his pocket. Hyukjae was smiling her gummy smiles looking at the gift.
“Can I open it?” Hyukjae asked happily and Donghae just nod.
Hyukjae opened the box and found a very pretty bracelet, it’s not gold or anything but it’s from Donghae. Hyukjae will treasure everything Donghae gave her. Hyukjae is smiling her pretty smiles again and hugged Donghae. Donghae hugged back and then let her go
“I know it’s not expensive and it’s not gold but it’s all I get from my part time job few days ago” Hyukjae’s mouth wide opened.
“You, Lee Donghae the son of Lee Corp, one of the finest company and son of the most successful businessman in the country work part time?”
Donghae just nodded. “For your information I work as a waiter”
“And nobody realizes that you are the richest teenager all over Korea?”
“I am smart, that’s why. Beside if I used my Appa’s money to buy you the most expensive bracelet it won’t be special right?”
Donghae said and kissed Hyukjae’s hand, feeling glad Hyukjae likes his gift. This is one of Hyukjae’s charm that made Donghae loves her more and more, Hyukjae never cares about his money, everything which Donghae gave to her, she took a really good care of it even it’s just a movie ticket they got from watching movies together.
“Oh Hae…. I’m so happy”
Hyukjae hugged Donghae and she can’t hide how happy she is. She never thought Donghae will do such this thing for her.
“Now Hyukkie, let me ask you a question before I put the bracelet on your pretty hand”
“What is it?” Hyukjae asked curiously.
“Will you Lee Hyukjae be my girlfriend?” Donghae said while putting the bracelet on Hyukjae’s right hand.
“Don’t be silly Hae, you know I am yours since we are five. I am Lee Donghae’s girl, remember?” Hyukjae chuckled saying that possessive line Donghae usually told her.
“Just want to make it real official and yes you are Lee Donghae’s”
They smiled, adoring each other’s presence and looked at each other. They can’t look apart and slowly Donghae closed the gap between them. Hyukjae closed her eyes tightly and her heart beat like crazy, but Donghae hold her hands tight which is enough to calm her a bit. That’s the first time they kissed. Lee Donghae is Hyukjae’s first kiss.
Hyukjae was 19 the first time she met a certain guy named Cho Kyuhyun. Kyuhyun was a trainee at his father’s company, SM entertainment. It happened when her best friend since high school namely Lee Sungmin asked her to come to a café near SM building to have lunch. Hyukjae came later that day and when she got inside the café she found that Sungmin was talking to a guy. Hyukjae grin, thinking that the guy might be Sungmin’s boyfriend. She walked to their table.
“Hey Min, sorry I am late” Hyukjae said casually and took seat near Sungmin, in front of the guy.
“Oh Hyukkie, you are here!” Sungmin said excitedly and hugged her immediately. The guy’s eyes never leave Hyukjae since then.
“Yah! I thought we are best friend forever” Hyukjae suddenly said and broke free from Sungmin’s hug.
“Of course we are….” Sungmin said confusedly.
“But you never told me before that you are having a boyfriend” Hyukjae pouted. Sungmin and the guy looked at each other and burst out laughing making Hyukjae pout more.
“Yah what are you laughing about?” Hyukjae whined cutely
“Oh my god Hyukkie…. You are soooo cute” Sungmin pinched Hyukjae’s cheek. “this is Kyuhyun, Cho Kyuhyun. He is my cousin” Sungmin looked at the suddenly red face Hyukjae. Hyukjae was embarrassed for mistaking Kyuhyun as Sungmin’s boyfriend. She covered her mouth immediately.
“Oh god! I am sorry. I don’t know” Hyukjae bowed to Kyuhyun telling him her apology while Kyuhyun was just smirking.
“Ah Hyukkie, Kyuhyun is one of the trainee at your Appa’s company”
“Really? I rarely go to Appa’s office so I don’t really know about it” Hyukjae said sheepishly to Kyuhyun.
“Finally I can meet the sajangnim’s popular daughter, it’s a pleasure.” Kyuhyun said making Hyukjae blushed.
“I am not that popular”
“Oh please Hyukkie! Your father is the most successful businessman in entertainment industry here and more your boyfriend is the famous Lee Donghae, the future CEO of Lee Corp. Besides in our school you are the most skilled ballerina and you still called your self not popular?”
“Ming, shut up already!” Hyukjae tried to cover Sungmin’s mouth with her palm.
“You do ballet?” Kyuhyun asked, distracting Hyukjae from violating his cousin more.
“Yeah, I got to the same school with Sungmin but I am majoring ballet” Hyukjae said politely to Kyuhyun.
“I bet you are good”
“Of course Kyu. She is more than good, she is the best. She even gets the scholarship from Julliard”
Sungmin said like a proud mother while Hyukjae playfully hit her arm.
“Julliard? Wow that’s cool. So when are you starting?”
“It’s actually not a scholarship it’s a student exchange ticket. I will be there for three months and it’s starting next semester”
“It’s still cool you know. I am sure Sungmin here envy you so much” Kyuhyun got a bash on the head from Sungmin for saying that.
“Didn’t Sungmin tell you that she will be coming to?” Hyukjae raised her eyebrow, looking at Kyuhyun and then Sungmin.
“What?” It’s Kyuhyun this time to get surprise and demand a full explanation from Sungmin but Hyukjae beat her.
“Sungmin is also coming, she is chosen from the musical major”
“Ya cousin, I don’t believe it you don’t tell me”
“It’s still a long time Kyu, but I might be miss your debut”
“When will you debut?” Hyukjae asked curiously.
“6 months from now”
“Wah cukhae! I bet you will be a great singer Kyuhyun sshi” Hyukjae just grabed Kyuhyun’s hand suddenly while saying that.
“But you haven’t hear me singing and drop the formalities, just call me Kyuhyun” Kyuhyun said confusedly
“Doesn’t matter, I will listen to your singing when you already stand on the stage. I really look forward to your debut then” Hyukjae said with her gummy smile, making Kyuhyun hold his breath for at least five second. Sungmin noticed it but say nothing.
“Well thank you then” Kyuhyun said a bit later.
“Ah! One more thing, if you receive award or anything, don’t forget to say my name on your speech okay!” Hyukjae chirped happily.
“Why does Kyuhyun need to do that?” Sungmin raised her eye brow to her hyper best friend.
“Just because” Hyukjae said childishly.
“Okay, I’ll do it” Hyukjae looked at Sungmin and stick her tongue to her while Sungmin just glared at her.
Since that day Kyuhyun is becoming Hyukjae’s close friend beside Sungmin and her cousin, Heechul. In a span of 6 months Kyuhyun really debut and at his first winning at Music bank he really did called Hyukjae’s name in his speech making Hyukjae who at that time stay at US very excited.
Hyukjae was twenty when she lost her virginity to none other than Lee Donghae. It happened on her birthday. Her Appa bought her a new apartment as a gift and it’s already full of the stuffs she need so in no time, she moved in immediately. Donghae also gave her a surprise party at one of the finest club in Seoul and invited all of her friends and his friends too which excited Hyukjae more.
“Do you like it Hyukkie?” Donghae asked while hugging her from behind. Hyukjae just lean more to Donghae’s neck and nodded.
“It’s really surprising Hae. I really like it. Everybody is here”
Donghae spun her body and looked at those excited and pure eyes. Donghae can’t help it but kissed her slowly and passionately. Hyukjae put her arms around Donghae’s neck, enjoying the kiss just like Donghae.
“Yah! You two go get a room!”
Hyukjae moved her hands fast from Donghae and pushed him a bit from her just to meet a pretty cousin of hers but getting a groan from Donghae
“Heechul Unnie….” Hyukjae smiled shyly and thanks for the dim light, Heechul couldn’t see her tomato face.
“Noona…. You are disturbing my time!” Donghae glared at her but Heechul just narrowed her eyes and hit him on the head.
“Come on Hyukkie, you have guests to attend and you Lee fucking Donghae, don’t you dare glaring at me like that! Now go and find my boyfriend at the bar” Heechul commanded him making Donghae pout but Hyukjae just waved at him and chuckled.
“Hyukkie…. Happy birthday! You are and adult now. Here is my present, perfume!” Sungmin excitedly hugged Hyukjae.
“Yah Sungmin, you don’t need to tell Hyukkie your present, it’s not going to be a surprise anymore” Heechul scolded and pried Sungmin’s hand from Hyukjae.sungmin just pouted for a second and then smile again.
“Oh right, I want to introduce you to someone.” Sungmin pulled a tall handsome man next to her. The guy smiles and his dimples are showing.
“Hyukkie, Heechul Unnie this is Choi Siwon….”
“You are that Choi Siwon, the guy who owns the largest supermarket in Korea?” Heechul suddenly said. The Siwon guy just smiled and bow.
“Don’t tell me you are Sungmin’s boyfriend” Heechul seems to understand the situation.
“I am sorry to disappoint you but I am her boyfriend” Siwon said politely with his hand gesture.
“Oh Sweet Lord! Sungmin how could you so lucky?” Heechul goes to shakes Sungmin.
“Yah Unnie, stop it. HanGeng Oppa might hear you and get jealous. Nice meeting you again Siwon, you are one of Donghae’s friend right?” Hyukjae said to Heechul while shaking hand with Siwon formally and Siwon just nodded.
“That pompous Chinese man! I really hope he would get jealous but he never! Can you imagine it? I already hug a random guy in front of him but he just pulled me and asked me if I liked that guy while SMILING! That man has no hope!” Heechul complained again about her boyfriend.
“Kyuhyun’s not coming?” Hyukaje looked around, trying to find Kyuhyun attracting Heechul’s attention again.
“That hot singer Cho Kyuhyun? You never introduce me to him Hyukjae. Where is he? I want to meet him in person” Heechul also started to look around.
“There he is, that’s cousin Kyuhyun!” Sungmin pointed at the club entrance and there standing Kyuhyun with all eyes are on him and people start to whispering, making Kyuhyun smirks. Who wouldn’t look at the famous singer Cho Kyuhyun?
Sungmin waved her hands to him and Kyuhyun saw it. He walked to them casually.
“Happy birthday Hyukjae” Kyuhyun said while giving her his present. Hyukaje took it gratefully.
“I am sorry if I can’t get you a proper present, I was so busy lately but I promise you’ll have your proper present next time” Hyukjae took the red rose from Kyuhyun’s hand and smell it.
“I love red rose, It’s okay Kyu. I forgive you.”
Hyukjae looked at the red rose, she remembered it, Donghae once gave he a red rose too and it made her smile. Kyuhyun suddenly hugged her telling her how much he missed her and Hyukjae woke up from her trance and hugged him back, leaving Sungmin and Heechul looked at each other.
“Oh Kyu, this is my older cousin, Heechul unnie”
“Kim Heechul, the famous designer? It’s good to meet you” Kyuhyun flashed his smile to Heechul and shake her hand.
“Finally I can meet you Cho Kyuhyun and you are really tall and handsome just like what Hyukaje told me. I might interest to take you as one of my models at my next show case” Heechul said while looking up and down.
“Unnie, stop talking about business on my party. Let’s get a drink!”
“But you don’t drink alcohol, what drink?” Sungmin said and Hyukjae just smiles.
“Donghae prepare the special drink for me tonight, strawberry milk” Hyukjae said excitedly while the others just chuckled.
Sungmin, Heechul and Siwon moved to the bar to get some drinks but Kyuhyun stay still.
“So Mr. Idol, how’s your life now? You were so busy that you can’t meet me after me going home? And now I feel left out now” Hyukjae pout.
“I am sorry princess, I was so busy lately but I make it to your party tonight right?” Kyuhyun smiled to her but Hyukjae was still pouting and fold her hands on her chest.
“Is it not enough to make it up to you?” Kyuhyun asked and Hyukjae just shook her head.
“Alright then, how about we go for lunch at Friday after I finish my schedule? I have Inkigayo tomorrow”
“Your treat?” Hyukjae smiled her gummy smile to him and Kyuhyun nodded.
“Okay, deal then!” Hyukjae said smiling.
“Hyukkie, I was looking for you but here you are talking to….”
Donghae appeared suddenly and grab Hyukjae’s waist and looked dangerously to Kyuhyun. Kyuhyun gave him the cold look too.
“Ah Hae! This is Kyuhyun. I’ve told you about him before right?” Donghae offered his hand and Kyuhyun took it.
“You are the singer Hyukkie keep telling me. I am Lee Donghae, Hyukjae’s boyfriend”
“I am Kyuhyun, Hyukjae’s friend”
They stared hard at each other but Hyukjae seem too oblivious to the tension on the air. She just looked around and smiled to whoever looking at her, greetings them politely with her smile.
“Hyukkie, lets go home now” Donghae suddenly said, surprising Hyukjae.
“Why? Our guests are still here Donghae, it might be rude to leave first” Hyukjae tried to coax Donghae with her smiles but Donghae looked at her with that cold stare. Hyukjae just keep silent after that, letting her self being drag outside by Donghae.
****“I don’t like that Kyuhyun guy” Donghae suddenly said after the pregnant silence since they leaft the club. Hyukjae looked side way to him to find Donghae still had that cold expression.
“He is my friend, Donghae” Donghae stopped his Lamborghini and look at Hyukjae.
“You usually don’t have a guy as a close friend and this time you do, I don’t like it Hyukjae. I don’t think he is a good guy” Donghae tried to emphasize each words.
“You are jealous for no reasons, Donghae. He is my friend and you have no right to tell me who I should be friends with!”
“I am not jealous, I just know he means no good for you!” Donghae hit the steering wheel and Hyukjae got shocked.
“You are being stupid Donghae!” Hyukjae said then got out of the car and got into her apartment building. Donghae kept hitting the steering wheel and cursing before he ran after Hyukjae.
Hyukjae is already inside her apartment and wanted to look the door when suddenly Donghae cutting in. Donghae held Hyukjae’s wrist but Hyukjae forced it to let her wrist go and went further to her apartment. Donghae sighed and locked the door and went after Hyukjae to the kitchen.
“I am not being stupid Hyukkie, I was just don’t like him”
Hyukjae looked back at him and took a cold water and drank it in one go.
“You don’t like him? So what? I should not meet him again? I also don’t like that secretary of yours, Yoona, but you keep seeing her!” Hyukjae slammed down her glass.
“Yoona is my secretary, no more and no less Hyukjae. You are being pointless to be jealous to her and don’t try to turn over our talk. We were talking about you and Kyuhyun!”
“Kyuhyun is my friend Donghae! I hate it when you be this POINTLESS and DEMANDING!”
Hyukjae walked pass Donghae to her rooms, Donghae followed suit. Hyukjae slammed her door shut right when Donghae wanted to come in. Donghae cursed and hit the door.
“Calm down Lee Donghae” he told himself. He exhaled slowly and faced the door.
“Hyukkie, I am sorry. You are right, I was just jealous. This is the first time you have a guy as a close friend and moreover he is Cho Kyuhyun. I just don’t want to lose you. I am really sorry.”
Silence….
“Hyukkie please, you are right I was being stupid and pointless. I won’t forbid you seeing him. Please Hyukkie…”
Hyukjae opened the door slowly and looked at Donghae’s desperate expression. She immediately hugged him.
“Don’t be like that again, you know you won’t lose me” Donghae pulled Hyukjae back to look at her face and smiled.

Donghae said and for the second time that night he kissed her. Hyukjae just closed her eyes and wrap her arms around Donghae and let Donghae dominates her. When Donghae pulled away Hyukjae met those brown eyes sweet eyes looking right into her soul, those brown orbs that looks at her with love and something else she can’t name it.
“Hyukkie…”
“Hmm?”
“Can I love you tonight?”
Hyukjae looked at those eyes again, hesitating with her answer but those eyes mesmerizing her and she found her self nodded to Donghae. Donghae kissed her again with so much sensuality and she didn’t remember how she ended up on her bed and they made love for the first time. With so much awkwardness and hesitance for doing it for the first time, Donghae took Hyukjae, brought her to heaven.
*****Hyukjae is 23 now and she still doesn’t understand why Donghae doesn’t like Kyuhyun. She and Kyuhyun have become a real close friend and most of times they meet, Hyukjae won’t say a word to Donghae. Her relationship with Donghae is still strong but she starts to ask what would happen if she is not bound to Donghae?
The more she thinks about her planned life and future, the more she gets confused by her self. More problems come when Kyuhyun finally tell her his true feelings. It first begin when Kyuhyun receive an award. Hyukjae was watching it from TV and she clapped proudly when the MC called Kyuhyun’s name as the winner of best male solo again this year. She cheered for him and she can see Kyuhyun was walking handsomely to the stage. Kyuhyun took the award and bowed, he stood in front of the microphone and gave the viewers his infamous smirk and started his acceptance speech.
“I dedicated this award for SM ent, my Umma and Appa that always support me and my cousin, Sungmin who has become my number one fan and lastly to Hyukjae, who has become the energy for me to keep doing it right, saranghae”
Hyukjae who was cheering and smiling got shocked and dropped her phone hearing it. She looked at the TV and there was Kyuhyun still smirking and the viewers gone crazy because of his so called confession. That’s how Kyuhyun tells the whole world about his feelings. It became the huge scandal soon. Everybody is talking about them and girls were gossiping each other but not long after that Kyuhyun told the media that it’s just a simple friend to friend greeting and media forgot it fast but to Hyukjae it is like a real confession, her heart beat harder and faster that time that it made her dizzy. To Donghae, Kyuhyun is a threat in his relationship with Hyukjae but he shrugs it off because he trust Hyukjae won’t leave him.

Kyuhyun and Hyukjae are having lunch few days after Kyuhyun cleared out the scandal. Nothing’s change between them, that’s what Hyukjae wants to tell her brain but there is something changing. Kyuhyun senses it, the doubt in Hyukjae. Being together with her for more than three years now makes Kyuhyun can read her openly.
“What are you thinking about Hyukkie?” Hyukjae looks up from her meal to Kyuhyun and just shakes her head.
“Come on Hyuk, I know there’s something. You fight again with Donghae?”
“We did fight two days ago but it’s not the problem now….”
Being together with Donghae for about 15 years now is not making everything’s smooth for them. They did so many fights and argue. Donghae always be so possessive and selfish when it comes to Hyukjae, sometimes Hyukjae finds it cute but some other times it’s just pissed her off. They are not married yet and still live separately but lately they fight more than a married couple.
“Just tell me and I will listen” Kyuhyun offered but Hyukjae shakes her head again.
“It’s just usual things Kyu. Donghae will come again and apologizes to me as soon as he backs from Mexico” Hyukjae said trying to not telling Kyuhyun the real problem.
“What is it about this time? His secretary again?”
“She is just a secretary, I don’t have the right to get mad to him even if he went with her, celebrating their success to a club together. Really, it’s nothing”
Hyukjae smiled, it really is nothing for her. She is not good with drinking and else so it’s not a problem if Donghae takes Yoona instead of her, right?
“Hyukkie, you know that I will always be by your side right?” Kyuhyun suddenly said, making Hyukjae wakes from her trance. Kyuhyun holds her hand and caress it with his thumb.
“I know you will Kyu.” Hyukjae smiles, feeling warm all of sudden.
“Hyukkie….”
“Hmm?” Hyukjae asked, looking at Kyuhyun but Kyuhyun looks hesitant about what he will say next.
“What is it Kyu?” Hyukjae urges and Kyuhyun looks at her, he looks at her with his love for her. Hyukjae stares, it’s not the first time Kyuhyun look at her like that but it still gives her butterfly inside her stomach. Hyukjae suddenly feels nervous.
“I know this might not the right time and I know I shouldn’t tell you this but I really want you to know Hyukkie….”
“Know what?”
“What I said when I got the award few days ago about you, it’s all true. I really do love you.”
Kyuhyun said with determination. He knows Hyukjae will not be his but he just needs to tell her. Kyuhyun finds Hyukjae shocked hearing it and frozen immediately.
“Hyukkie?”
Hyukjae doesn’t know what to say, she is just too confused. For some reasons, she is happy finally she can hear it directly from Kyuhyun but she knows this isn’t right. She is Donghae’s girl and forever will be like that. Her life and future is already written by her parents and she has nothing to do to against it. Hyukjae doesn’t know why does she cries right then.
“Hyukkie I am sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you like this. Please don’t cry” Kyuhyun said and reaches for Hyukjae’s face to wipe off the tears.
“Just pretend that I don’t say anything. I am sorry, I was wrong”
“How could you tell me to pretend like nothing’s going on Kyuhyun? I am sorry”
Hyukjae is still crying a river without her knowing why. She leaves the restaurant leaving Kyuhyun banging the tables, regretting his words. He shouldn’t have told her and worst he shouldn’t have to love someone whom he knows he can’t reach.

My exam is just finished and I have three weeks off from college*jumping excitedly*. And this is my new fic for the New Year even it’s not New Year yet.
By the way I just knew that my exam’s marks are already out some. So from 8, 4 has already shown up. I got 1 A, 2 C+ and 1 D. I don’t expect to get A at intermediate Accounting, I must be grateful. But the C+ and D, I do not know how to react. I have predicted it. My cost accounting is bad and I expect that C but C for financial management? I didn’t expect it. I did pretty well and confidence at the exam. Did the lecture caught me giving answers to others and reduce my mark? And for the D, really, actually I never expect it, because I did the exam right but maybe tat Miss was fed up with my absence and do not let me pass her subject.
If my mom and dad know, I am sure dead meat. They will take my TV, internet connection and might end up just lock me in the room. Aish…. Why do I tell you all of this? Sorry…
Anyway, I will start updating my other fics soon and I know I should have updated the old fics first but this idea keep bugging my mind and I just can’t help it. And as usual the first chapter is suck and the feelings are not right, I guess, sorry.
By the way my birthday is coming and I might as well update on that time (I would as well not telling my parents my marks until that day right?), please anticipate it.

CHAPTER 1: THE FIRST
Hyukjae was five when she met Donghae for the first time. That night her father brought her and her mother to have a dinner at one of the finest restaurant in Seoul and meet his business colleague. Hyukjae’s father is one of the top businessmen in South Korea and so does his colleague. That’s when Hyukjae knew that her fate is already planned by her family.
“Hyukkie, honey this is Lee Donghae. He is the same age like you and one day later you will be his wife, you understand that?”
Hyukjae looks at her father and then to the little boy in front of her who is grinning happily. Hyukjae still doesn’t know what her father means but looking at the smiling boy in front of her and her smiling family, Hyukjae just smiles and nod. Hyukjae looks at the Donghae boy and he walks near her until he stands in front of her. Hyukjae took note that the boy is shorter than her at that time.
“Hi pretty angel my name is Donghae” Donghae offers his hand to Hyukjae and she hesitantly took it. She is a bit shy because Donghae called her pretty angel.
“My Appa said you will be my wife Hyukkie, so from now on you are mine, Lee Donghae’s girl. I will protect you and don’t get too close to other boy, arasso?” Donghae said, still smiling. Hyukjae was blushing red now that she just put her head down and nod a little.
Since that day Lee Donghae and Lee Hyukjae was never separated.
Hyukjae and Donghae were seven when Hyukjae got bullied at her first day at school. Those bullies are older than them and Donghae was out playing soccer with the other boys. Hyukjae was walking to the yard to look for Donghae with two cartoons of milk in her hand, one is chocolate and the other is strawberry while those big boys came to her.
“Yah you little spoiled girl!” Hyukjae look up and those boys were smirking.
“Give us those milk in your hand!” the biggest and tallest boy commanded. Hyukjae hide the milk on her back.
“These are mine.” Little Hyukjae chirped. The bullies didn’t stop, one of them went to he back and tried to take the milk but Hyukjae still fought for it. Another boy came and pushed little Hyukjae. Little Hyukjae got push to the wall and the three boys laughed at her. Hyukjae was crying at that time.
“Give me those back” Little Hyukjae said between her sob.
“You are rich, you can ask your father to buy more of these, so these are for me!”
Little Hyukjae cried louder and she remembered Donghae, in her mind she is calling for him and hoped Donghae would come to save her and the milks. Seeing little Hyukjae cried so hard, those bullies continued to bully her.
“Look at her crying, she looks like a monkey” One of them said and they laughed again.
“But I never see a monkey with red hair, look at her so ugly and thin. Hey, she might be one of those crazy people”
“Why?”
“Because her hair is red. I never see anyone with red hair before but my umma said people with strange hair color must be crazy” they laughed again and it made little Hyukjae cried louder while
calling for Donghae in her mind.
“Yah!”
Little Hyukjae and those bullies look at the source of voice. There standing at the end of corridor is none other than Lee Donghae holding his ball. He looked pissed. He went closer to Hyukjae and Hyukjae automatically stick her little hands to Donghae. Donghae took and caress them.
“It’s okay Hyukkie, Hae is here now” Little Donghae wiped the tears on Hyukjae’s cheek and Hyukjae nod.
Little Donghae looked back at those bullies and glared at them.
“Nobody makes Hyukkie cries like this! Nobody is allowed to hurt Lee Donghae’s girl!” Donghae said and then launched him self to the bullies, hit them and kicked them carelessly. Looking at Donghae like that, Hyukjae cried more which attracted the teacher’s attention. The teachers then separated Donghae and those bullies but Donghae got injured on his arm because of those bullies.
Little Donghae got scolded by the teachers because of that fight so when everybody is home, little Donghae must clean the classroom as punishment while those bullies got suspended from school. Little Hyukjae was waiting for little Donghae at the gate with her driver, feeling worried and sad for little Donghae. She also wanted to help cleaning the classroom with him but little Donghae objected it and pushed little Hyukaje from the classroom to just waited for him on the gate.
“Hyukkie….” Little Donghae shouted and waved his little hand to little Hyukjae. Little Donghae run to where little Hyukjae is. He was smiling but little Hyukjae was frowning.
“Hyukkie, lets go home now” Little Donghae said and then dragged little Hyukjae to her car. Little Hyukjae stand still and little Donghae looked at her.
“What happen, Hyukkie? Let’s go home…” Little Hyukjae just pulled Little Donghae and looked at his injured hand.
“Hae is hurt because of Hyukkie….” Little Hyukjae pouted while little Donghae just smiles.
“It’s okay Hyukkie, the teacher already put some medicine on it. Hae doesn’t feel hurt because Hyukkie is saved. Hyukkie is Hae’s right?” Donghae exclaimed but Hyukjae was still pouting.
“They took Hae’s chocolate milk too….”
“It’s okay, Hae will buy Hyukkie more milk later.” Donghae started to drag her again but Hyukjae tug his hand back. Donghae looked at her confusedly.
“Do I really look a monkey and ugly?” Little Hyukjae looked at little Donghae while pouting and some curiosity in her eyes. Little Donghae looked at her with big round confused eyes but then he broke into a smiling Donghae like always.
“Don’t believe what they said Hyukkie. You are an angel, the most beautiful girl in the whole world.” Donghae emphasized it with his hand gesture childishly.
“But they said I look ugly and they also said my hair is bad” Little Hyukjae started to tear up
“You have the prettiest hair Hyukkie and I like red, so don’t think that way anymore, ne? You don’t need to listen to them you are only allowed to listen to me because you are mine….”
Little Donghae smiled. He looked at the still pouting Hyukjae and then hugged her, that’s how his Appa makes his Umma smiles and he hoped it will work on little Hyukjae too. Hyukjae is a bit taken a back by Donghae’s action but at last she relaxed. That was the first time little Donghae hugged her like that. When Donghae let her go, she already smiled and they got home after that.
They were ten when Donghae first said those magic words to Hyukjae. They were playing at Donghae’s backyard that day. Hyukjae was looking at the flowers and smell them. She loves flowers so much and Donghae’s mother’s garden is her favorite. Donghae was following her wherever she went while holding her hand. For little Donghae those flowers are nothing to match Hyukjae’s beauty but this one flower caught his attention. The red rose. Little Donghae remembered that last night his Appa brought a bunch of those flowers for his Umma and his umma was really happy. Little Donghae grins and then let go of little Hyukjae’s hand to pick the pretty flower but the thorn hurt his finger. He didn’t cried, he wiped it off and comes back to where little Hyukjae was.
“Hyukkie, I’ve got something for you…” Little Hyukjae looked at little Donghae curiously and smiles her special gummy smiles.
“Hyukkie loves present!”
Little Donghae then showed the rose to little Hyukjae.
“Hyukkie, saranghae….” Little Donghae said, he imitated his Appa last night. Little Hyukjae was blushing but she took the flower nonetheless. In a slow voice little Hyukjae told little Donghae her answer.
“Hyukkie loves Hae too” Even though it’s just a whisper but little Donghae can hear it and he grins. He then hugs little Hyukjae possessively.
“Hyukkie is Lee Donghae’s girl….” Donghae said possessively.
Hyukjae was seventeen the first time Donghae kissed her. It happened when Donghae officially asked her to be his girlfriend and it’s on her birthday.
It was Hyukjae’s 17th birthday but the said girl decided not to throw a party. She just wanted to be with her parents, having dinner.Donghae’s parents are invited too because they are indeed a family. They were having dinner at Hyukjae’s house and everybody prepared their own present except one certain Lee Donghae. Hyukjae can’t believe it, of all people it’s Donghae who forgot about her present. It really made Hyukjae pissed.
“Hyukkie, what’s with the pout? You don’t like the dessert?” Hyukjae looked at her Umma and smiled a little.
“It’s nothing Umma”
“But you don’t look happy, it’s your birthday” Her umma said while smiling. The whole room attention was on Hyukjae right now.
“Yeah Hyukkie, what’s wrong?”
Donghae asked still with that stupid grin on his face. Hyukjae rolled her eyes at Donghae and gave him a glare.
“Oh it’s nothing Donghae, it’s just my self being stupid. I have no right to get mad to someone who forgets to bring me a birthday present, right? So I am not mad and stop talking to me!”
Hyukjae has taught to be a good and nice girl especially when they are having a dinner like this but Hyukjae seems to forget everything. Hyukjae closed her mouth immediately and looked at her Umma and Appa and then to Donghae’s parent. She felt embarrassed and but when she looked at Donghae, she found him chuckle and it only fueled her anger more. She was glaring at Donghae while suddenly the dining room broke into laughter
“Hyukkie, if you are talking about Donghae I am sure he didn’t leave the present intentionally sweetheart. Don’t be mad like that. He gave you present almost everyday.” Her Umma said. Hyukjae pouted and her Appa just laughed more.
“I am sorry Umma, Appa, Auntie, Uncle. I was being rude and I didn’t mean it”
Hyukjae said plainly and bowed to them. The dinner went smoothly after the commotion Hyukjae made but Hyukjae was still sulking at Donghae after that incident. She was currently sitting on her bed swing her Appa made for her near the pool when Donghae joined her.
“Hey angel….” Donghae said. Hyukjae looked at him and glared then inched away from him. Donghae chuckled and inched closer to her. Hyukjae moved away until the end of the swing. Donghae got closer and put his arm around Hyukjae’s shoulder.
“Why are you so mad, angel?”
“I hate you!” Hyukjae coldly said. Donghae just chuckled. Donghae inched closer to her and whispered.
“Hey angel, I was lying about forgetting your present earlier”
Hyukjae looked at Donghae with raised eyebrow. “Oh really now?”
Donghae just nodded and took out something from his pocket. Hyukjae was smiling her gummy smiles looking at the gift.
“Can I open it?” Hyukjae asked happily and Donghae just nod.
Hyukjae opened the box and found a very pretty bracelet, it’s not gold or anything but it’s from Donghae. Hyukjae will treasure everything Donghae gave her. Hyukjae is smiling her pretty smiles again and hugged Donghae. Donghae hugged back and then let her go
“I know it’s not expensive and it’s not gold but it’s all I get from my part time job few days ago” Hyukjae’s mouth wide opened.
“You, Lee Donghae the son of Lee Corp, one of the finest company and son of the most successful businessman in the country work part time?”
Donghae just nodded. “For your information I work as a waiter”
“And nobody realizes that you are the richest teenager all over Korea?”
“I am smart, that’s why. Beside if I used my Appa’s money to buy you the most expensive bracelet it won’t be special right?”
Donghae said and kissed Hyukjae’s hand, feeling glad Hyukjae likes his gift. This is one of Hyukjae’s charm that made Donghae loves her more and more, Hyukjae never cares about his money, everything which Donghae gave to her, she took a really good care of it even it’s just a movie ticket they got from watching movies together.
“Oh Hae…. I’m so happy”
Hyukjae hugged Donghae and she can’t hide how happy she is. She never thought Donghae will do such this thing for her.
“Now Hyukkie, let me ask you a question before I put the bracelet on your pretty hand”
“What is it?” Hyukjae asked curiously.
“Will you Lee Hyukjae be my girlfriend?” Donghae said while putting the bracelet on Hyukjae’s right hand.
“Don’t be silly Hae, you know I am yours since we are five. I am Lee Donghae’s girl, remember?” Hyukjae chuckled saying that possessive line Donghae usually told her.
“Just want to make it real official and yes you are Lee Donghae’s”
They smiled, adoring each other’s presence and looked at each other. They can’t look apart and slowly Donghae closed the gap between them. Hyukjae closed her eyes tightly and her heart beat like crazy, but Donghae hold her hands tight which is enough to calm her a bit. That’s the first time they kissed. Lee Donghae is Hyukjae’s first kiss.
Hyukjae was 19 the first time she met a certain guy named Cho Kyuhyun. Kyuhyun was a trainee at his father’s company, SM entertainment. It happened when her best friend since high school namely Lee Sungmin asked her to come to a café near SM building to have lunch. Hyukjae came later that day and when she got inside the café she found that Sungmin was talking to a guy. Hyukjae grin, thinking that the guy might be Sungmin’s boyfriend. She walked to their table.
“Hey Min, sorry I am late” Hyukjae said casually and took seat near Sungmin, in front of the guy.
“Oh Hyukkie, you are here!” Sungmin said excitedly and hugged her immediately. The guy’s eyes never leave Hyukjae since then.
“Yah! I thought we are best friend forever” Hyukjae suddenly said and broke free from Sungmin’s hug.
“Of course we are….” Sungmin said confusedly.
“But you never told me before that you are having a boyfriend” Hyukjae pouted. Sungmin and the guy looked at each other and burst out laughing making Hyukjae pout more.
“Yah what are you laughing about?” Hyukjae whined cutely
“Oh my god Hyukkie…. You are soooo cute” Sungmin pinched Hyukjae’s cheek. “this is Kyuhyun, Cho Kyuhyun. He is my cousin” Sungmin looked at the suddenly red face Hyukjae. Hyukjae was embarrassed for mistaking Kyuhyun as Sungmin’s boyfriend. She covered her mouth immediately.
“Oh god! I am sorry. I don’t know” Hyukjae bowed to Kyuhyun telling him her apology while Kyuhyun was just smirking.
“Ah Hyukkie, Kyuhyun is one of the trainee at your Appa’s company”
“Really? I rarely go to Appa’s office so I don’t really know about it” Hyukjae said sheepishly to Kyuhyun.
“Finally I can meet the sajangnim’s popular daughter, it’s a pleasure.” Kyuhyun said making Hyukjae blushed.
“I am not that popular”
“Oh please Hyukkie! Your father is the most successful businessman in entertainment industry here and more your boyfriend is the famous Lee Donghae, the future CEO of Lee Corp. Besides in our school you are the most skilled ballerina and you still called your self not popular?”
“Ming, shut up already!” Hyukjae tried to cover Sungmin’s mouth with her palm.
“You do ballet?” Kyuhyun asked, distracting Hyukjae from violating his cousin more.
“Yeah, I got to the same school with Sungmin but I am majoring ballet” Hyukjae said politely to Kyuhyun.
“I bet you are good”
“Of course Kyu. She is more than good, she is the best. She even gets the scholarship from Julliard”
Sungmin said like a proud mother while Hyukjae playfully hit her arm.
“Julliard? Wow that’s cool. So when are you starting?”
“It’s actually not a scholarship it’s a student exchange ticket. I will be there for three months and it’s starting next semester”
“It’s still cool you know. I am sure Sungmin here envy you so much” Kyuhyun got a bash on the head from Sungmin for saying that.
“Didn’t Sungmin tell you that she will be coming to?” Hyukjae raised her eyebrow, looking at Kyuhyun and then Sungmin.
“What?” It’s Kyuhyun this time to get surprise and demand a full explanation from Sungmin but Hyukjae beat her.
“Sungmin is also coming, she is chosen from the musical major”
“Ya cousin, I don’t believe it you don’t tell me”
“It’s still a long time Kyu, but I might be miss your debut”
“When will you debut?” Hyukjae asked curiously.
“6 months from now”
“Wah cukhae! I bet you will be a great singer Kyuhyun sshi” Hyukjae just grabed Kyuhyun’s hand suddenly while saying that.
“But you haven’t hear me singing and drop the formalities, just call me Kyuhyun” Kyuhyun said confusedly
“Doesn’t matter, I will listen to your singing when you already stand on the stage. I really look forward to your debut then” Hyukjae said with her gummy smile, making Kyuhyun hold his breath for at least five second. Sungmin noticed it but say nothing.
“Well thank you then” Kyuhyun said a bit later.
“Ah! One more thing, if you receive award or anything, don’t forget to say my name on your speech okay!” Hyukjae chirped happily.
“Why does Kyuhyun need to do that?” Sungmin raised her eye brow to her hyper best friend.
“Just because” Hyukjae said childishly.
“Okay, I’ll do it” Hyukjae looked at Sungmin and stick her tongue to her while Sungmin just glared at her.
Since that day Kyuhyun is becoming Hyukjae’s close friend beside Sungmin and her cousin, Heechul. In a span of 6 months Kyuhyun really debut and at his first winning at Music bank he really did called Hyukjae’s name in his speech making Hyukjae who at that time stay at US very excited.
Hyukjae was twenty when she lost her virginity to none other than Lee Donghae. It happened on her birthday. Her Appa bought her a new apartment as a gift and it’s already full of the stuffs she need so in no time, she moved in immediately. Donghae also gave her a surprise party at one of the finest club in Seoul and invited all of her friends and his friends too which excited Hyukjae more.
“Do you like it Hyukkie?” Donghae asked while hugging her from behind. Hyukjae just lean more to Donghae’s neck and nodded.
“It’s really surprising Hae. I really like it. Everybody is here”
Donghae spun her body and looked at those excited and pure eyes. Donghae can’t help it but kissed her slowly and passionately. Hyukjae put her arms around Donghae’s neck, enjoying the kiss just like Donghae.
“Yah! You two go get a room!”
Hyukjae moved her hands fast from Donghae and pushed him a bit from her just to meet a pretty cousin of hers but getting a groan from Donghae
“Heechul Unnie….” Hyukjae smiled shyly and thanks for the dim light, Heechul couldn’t see her tomato face.
“Noona…. You are disturbing my time!” Donghae glared at her but Heechul just narrowed her eyes and hit him on the head.
“Come on Hyukkie, you have guests to attend and you Lee fucking Donghae, don’t you dare glaring at me like that! Now go and find my boyfriend at the bar” Heechul commanded him making Donghae pout but Hyukjae just waved at him and chuckled.
“Hyukkie…. Happy birthday! You are and adult now. Here is my present, perfume!” Sungmin excitedly hugged Hyukjae.
“Yah Sungmin, you don’t need to tell Hyukkie your present, it’s not going to be a surprise anymore” Heechul scolded and pried Sungmin’s hand from Hyukjae.sungmin just pouted for a second and then smile again.
“Oh right, I want to introduce you to someone.” Sungmin pulled a tall handsome man next to her. The guy smiles and his dimples are showing.
“Hyukkie, Heechul Unnie this is Choi Siwon….”
“You are that Choi Siwon, the guy who owns the largest supermarket in Korea?” Heechul suddenly said. The Siwon guy just smiled and bow.
“Don’t tell me you are Sungmin’s boyfriend” Heechul seems to understand the situation.
“I am sorry to disappoint you but I am her boyfriend” Siwon said politely with his hand gesture.
“Oh Sweet Lord! Sungmin how could you so lucky?” Heechul goes to shakes Sungmin.
“Yah Unnie, stop it. HanGeng Oppa might hear you and get jealous. Nice meeting you again Siwon, you are one of Donghae’s friend right?” Hyukjae said to Heechul while shaking hand with Siwon formally and Siwon just nodded.
“That pompous Chinese man! I really hope he would get jealous but he never! Can you imagine it? I already hug a random guy in front of him but he just pulled me and asked me if I liked that guy while SMILING! That man has no hope!” Heechul complained again about her boyfriend.
“Kyuhyun’s not coming?” Hyukaje looked around, trying to find Kyuhyun attracting Heechul’s attention again.
“That hot singer Cho Kyuhyun? You never introduce me to him Hyukjae. Where is he? I want to meet him in person” Heechul also started to look around.
“There he is, that’s cousin Kyuhyun!” Sungmin pointed at the club entrance and there standing Kyuhyun with all eyes are on him and people start to whispering, making Kyuhyun smirks. Who wouldn’t look at the famous singer Cho Kyuhyun?
Sungmin waved her hands to him and Kyuhyun saw it. He walked to them casually.
“Happy birthday Hyukjae” Kyuhyun said while giving her his present. Hyukaje took it gratefully.
“I am sorry if I can’t get you a proper present, I was so busy lately but I promise you’ll have your proper present next time” Hyukjae took the red rose from Kyuhyun’s hand and smell it.
“I love red rose, It’s okay Kyu. I forgive you.”
Hyukjae looked at the red rose, she remembered it, Donghae once gave he a red rose too and it made her smile. Kyuhyun suddenly hugged her telling her how much he missed her and Hyukjae woke up from her trance and hugged him back, leaving Sungmin and Heechul looked at each other.
“Oh Kyu, this is my older cousin, Heechul unnie”
“Kim Heechul, the famous designer? It’s good to meet you” Kyuhyun flashed his smile to Heechul and shake her hand.
“Finally I can meet you Cho Kyuhyun and you are really tall and handsome just like what Hyukaje told me. I might interest to take you as one of my models at my next show case” Heechul said while looking up and down.
“Unnie, stop talking about business on my party. Let’s get a drink!”
“But you don’t drink alcohol, what drink?” Sungmin said and Hyukjae just smiles.
“Donghae prepare the special drink for me tonight, strawberry milk” Hyukjae said excitedly while the others just chuckled.
Sungmin, Heechul and Siwon moved to the bar to get some drinks but Kyuhyun stay still.
“So Mr. Idol, how’s your life now? You were so busy that you can’t meet me after me going home? And now I feel left out now” Hyukjae pout.
“I am sorry princess, I was so busy lately but I make it to your party tonight right?” Kyuhyun smiled to her but Hyukjae was still pouting and fold her hands on her chest.
“Is it not enough to make it up to you?” Kyuhyun asked and Hyukjae just shook her head.
“Alright then, how about we go for lunch at Friday after I finish my schedule? I have Inkigayo tomorrow”
“Your treat?” Hyukjae smiled her gummy smile to him and Kyuhyun nodded.
“Okay, deal then!” Hyukjae said smiling.
“Hyukkie, I was looking for you but here you are talking to….”
Donghae appeared suddenly and grab Hyukjae’s waist and looked dangerously to Kyuhyun. Kyuhyun gave him the cold look too.
“Ah Hae! This is Kyuhyun. I’ve told you about him before right?” Donghae offered his hand and Kyuhyun took it.
“You are the singer Hyukkie keep telling me. I am Lee Donghae, Hyukjae’s boyfriend”
“I am Kyuhyun, Hyukjae’s friend”
They stared hard at each other but Hyukjae seem too oblivious to the tension on the air. She just looked around and smiled to whoever looking at her, greetings them politely with her smile.
“Hyukkie, lets go home now” Donghae suddenly said, surprising Hyukjae.
“Why? Our guests are still here Donghae, it might be rude to leave first” Hyukjae tried to coax Donghae with her smiles but Donghae looked at her with that cold stare. Hyukjae just keep silent after that, letting her self being drag outside by Donghae.
****“I don’t like that Kyuhyun guy” Donghae suddenly said after the pregnant silence since they leaft the club. Hyukjae looked side way to him to find Donghae still had that cold expression.
“He is my friend, Donghae” Donghae stopped his Lamborghini and look at Hyukjae.
“You usually don’t have a guy as a close friend and this time you do, I don’t like it Hyukjae. I don’t think he is a good guy” Donghae tried to emphasize each words.
“You are jealous for no reasons, Donghae. He is my friend and you have no right to tell me who I should be friends with!”
“I am not jealous, I just know he means no good for you!” Donghae hit the steering wheel and Hyukjae got shocked.
“You are being stupid Donghae!” Hyukjae said then got out of the car and got into her apartment building. Donghae kept hitting the steering wheel and cursing before he ran after Hyukjae.
Hyukjae is already inside her apartment and wanted to look the door when suddenly Donghae cutting in. Donghae held Hyukjae’s wrist but Hyukjae forced it to let her wrist go and went further to her apartment. Donghae sighed and locked the door and went after Hyukjae to the kitchen.
“I am not being stupid Hyukkie, I was just don’t like him”
Hyukjae looked back at him and took a cold water and drank it in one go.
“You don’t like him? So what? I should not meet him again? I also don’t like that secretary of yours, Yoona, but you keep seeing her!” Hyukjae slammed down her glass.
“Yoona is my secretary, no more and no less Hyukjae. You are being pointless to be jealous to her and don’t try to turn over our talk. We were talking about you and Kyuhyun!”
“Kyuhyun is my friend Donghae! I hate it when you be this POINTLESS and DEMANDING!”
Hyukjae walked pass Donghae to her rooms, Donghae followed suit. Hyukjae slammed her door shut right when Donghae wanted to come in. Donghae cursed and hit the door.
“Calm down Lee Donghae” he told himself. He exhaled slowly and faced the door.
“Hyukkie, I am sorry. You are right, I was just jealous. This is the first time you have a guy as a close friend and moreover he is Cho Kyuhyun. I just don’t want to lose you. I am really sorry.”
Silence….
“Hyukkie please, you are right I was being stupid and pointless. I won’t forbid you seeing him. Please Hyukkie…”
Hyukjae opened the door slowly and looked at Donghae’s desperate expression. She immediately hugged him.
“Don’t be like that again, you know you won’t lose me” Donghae pulled Hyukjae back to look at her face and smiled.
“Of course, because you are Lee Donghae’s girl”
Donghae said and for the second time that night he kissed her. Hyukjae just closed her eyes and wrap her arms around Donghae and let Donghae dominates her. When Donghae pulled away Hyukjae met those brown eyes sweet eyes looking right into her soul, those brown orbs that looks at her with love and something else she can’t name it.
“Hyukkie…”
“Hmm?”
“Can I love you tonight?”
Hyukjae looked at those eyes again, hesitating with her answer but those eyes mesmerizing her and she found her self nodded to Donghae. Donghae kissed her again with so much sensuality and she didn’t remember how she ended up on her bed and they made love for the first time. With so much awkwardness and hesitance for doing it for the first time, Donghae took Hyukjae, brought her to heaven.
*****Hyukjae is 23 now and she still doesn’t understand why Donghae doesn’t like Kyuhyun. She and Kyuhyun have become a real close friend and most of times they meet, Hyukjae won’t say a word to Donghae. Her relationship with Donghae is still strong but she starts to ask what would happen if she is not bound to Donghae?
The more she thinks about her planned life and future, the more she gets confused by her self. More problems come when Kyuhyun finally tell her his true feelings. It first begin when Kyuhyun receive an award. Hyukjae was watching it from TV and she clapped proudly when the MC called Kyuhyun’s name as the winner of best male solo again this year. She cheered for him and she can see Kyuhyun was walking handsomely to the stage. Kyuhyun took the award and bowed, he stood in front of the microphone and gave the viewers his infamous smirk and started his acceptance speech.
“I dedicated this award for SM ent, my Umma and Appa that always support me and my cousin, Sungmin who has become my number one fan and lastly to Hyukjae, who has become the energy for me to keep doing it right, saranghae”
Hyukjae who was cheering and smiling got shocked and dropped her phone hearing it. She looked at the TV and there was Kyuhyun still smirking and the viewers gone crazy because of his so called confession. That’s how Kyuhyun tells the whole world about his feelings. It became the huge scandal soon. Everybody is talking about them and girls were gossiping each other but not long after that Kyuhyun told the media that it’s just a simple friend to friend greeting and media forgot it fast but to Hyukjae it is like a real confession, her heart beat harder and faster that time that it made her dizzy. To Donghae, Kyuhyun is a threat in his relationship with Hyukjae but he shrugs it off because he trust Hyukjae won’t leave him.

Kyuhyun and Hyukjae are having lunch few days after Kyuhyun cleared out the scandal. Nothing’s change between them, that’s what Hyukjae wants to tell her brain but there is something changing. Kyuhyun senses it, the doubt in Hyukjae. Being together with her for more than three years now makes Kyuhyun can read her openly.
“What are you thinking about Hyukkie?” Hyukjae looks up from her meal to Kyuhyun and just shakes her head.
“Come on Hyuk, I know there’s something. You fight again with Donghae?”
“We did fight two days ago but it’s not the problem now….”
Being together with Donghae for about 15 years now is not making everything’s smooth for them. They did so many fights and argue. Donghae always be so possessive and selfish when it comes to Hyukjae, sometimes Hyukjae finds it cute but some other times it’s just pissed her off. They are not married yet and still live separately but lately they fight more than a married couple.
“Just tell me and I will listen” Kyuhyun offered but Hyukjae shakes her head again.
“It’s just usual things Kyu. Donghae will come again and apologizes to me as soon as he backs from Mexico” Hyukjae said trying to not telling Kyuhyun the real problem.
“What is it about this time? His secretary again?”
“She is just a secretary, I don’t have the right to get mad to him even if he went with her, celebrating their success to a club together. Really, it’s nothing”
Hyukjae smiled, it really is nothing for her. She is not good with drinking and else so it’s not a problem if Donghae takes Yoona instead of her, right?
“Hyukkie, you know that I will always be by your side right?” Kyuhyun suddenly said, making Hyukjae wakes from her trance. Kyuhyun holds her hand and caress it with his thumb.
“I know you will Kyu.” Hyukjae smiles, feeling warm all of sudden.
“Hyukkie….”
“Hmm?” Hyukjae asked, looking at Kyuhyun but Kyuhyun looks hesitant about what he will say next.
“What is it Kyu?” Hyukjae urges and Kyuhyun looks at her, he looks at her with his love for her. Hyukjae stares, it’s not the first time Kyuhyun look at her like that but it still gives her butterfly inside her stomach. Hyukjae suddenly feels nervous.
“I know this might not the right time and I know I shouldn’t tell you this but I really want you to know Hyukkie….”
“Know what?”
“What I said when I got the award few days ago about you, it’s all true. I really do love you.”
Kyuhyun said with determination. He knows Hyukjae will not be his but he just needs to tell her. Kyuhyun finds Hyukjae shocked hearing it and frozen immediately.
“Hyukkie?”
Hyukjae doesn’t know what to say, she is just too confused. For some reasons, she is happy finally she can hear it directly from Kyuhyun but she knows this isn’t right. She is Donghae’s girl and forever will be like that. Her life and future is already written by her parents and she has nothing to do to against it. Hyukjae doesn’t know why does she cries right then.
“Hyukkie I am sorry, I didn’t mean to scare you like this. Please don’t cry” Kyuhyun said and reaches for Hyukjae’s face to wipe off the tears.
“Just pretend that I don’t say anything. I am sorry, I was wrong”
“How could you tell me to pretend like nothing’s going on Kyuhyun? I am sorry”
Hyukjae is still crying a river without her knowing why. She leaves the restaurant leaving Kyuhyun banging the tables, regretting his words. He shouldn’t have told her and worst he shouldn’t have to love someone whom he knows he can’t reach.

My exam is just finished and I have three weeks off from college*jumping excitedly*. And this is my new fic for the New Year even it’s not New Year yet.
By the way I just knew that my exam’s marks are already out some. So from 8, 4 has already shown up. I got 1 A, 2 C+ and 1 D. I don’t expect to get A at intermediate Accounting, I must be grateful. But the C+ and D, I do not know how to react. I have predicted it. My cost accounting is bad and I expect that C but C for financial management? I didn’t expect it. I did pretty well and confidence at the exam. Did the lecture caught me giving answers to others and reduce my mark? And for the D, really, actually I never expect it, because I did the exam right but maybe tat Miss was fed up with my absence and do not let me pass her subject.
If my mom and dad know, I am sure dead meat. They will take my TV, internet connection and might end up just lock me in the room. Aish…. Why do I tell you all of this? Sorry…
Anyway, I will start updating my other fics soon and I know I should have updated the old fics first but this idea keep bugging my mind and I just can’t help it. And as usual the first chapter is suck and the feelings are not right, I guess, sorry.
By the way my birthday is coming and I might as well update on that time (I would as well not telling my parents my marks until that day right?), please anticipate it.
