Sweet Stadium Seating!

Right now, Ron and his brother are here building stadium seating for my movie theater in the basement. Yay! We dropped some dough for wood and at Home Depot (interest-free financing, baby!) and I also got a new digital thermostat because I think mine's crap. They cut the wood in my driveway and I'm sure the neighbors are thinking WTF is going on?

Though, I do have to ask: are you gonna install the little "tiddlylights" along the aisles? There a must!

If what I'm told is true, all they are are red Christmas lights under a protective molding, so it wouldn't be hard. :)

But of course I will install the lights, LOL. They are half the size of a Christmas light bulb, just as cheap on a simple circuit and white bulbs. The red plastic protective strip over top is what tints them red. I am going to see if my dad or my friend's husband (who is an elect. journeyman) can wire them up to the house current. Need more elect. outlets down there and maybe a current converter so house power doesn't blow them out.

There's a smoke detector wired into the house current at the base of the basement stairs, but I am going to buy a fire extinguisher as well. There's no smoking in my house/theater but you never know what can happen...

Yeah, your electrical room could burst into blame, and management could ignore the alarm b/c the alarm just goes off whenever it wants.

Oh wait, we're talking your home theater, not my work theater. :)
