Let's see, I work at a DD group home, so my first hour is spent checking all the controled meds (can zombies OD on liquid morphine?) and the clients' money pouches. This is followed by checking the laundry/dishes/who needs to cook today and what the hell is on the menu/dear god I hope nobody needs to be changed already status, so I really could be anywhere in the house, but let's assume I'm up at the med desk in the front room

Unfortunately, once you get outside, the bus system is so stupid that you'll probably get eaten alive at the transit center!

Well, I would anyway. You're smart and would probably make some neat Rube Goldberg zombie trap!

I work in a call center, and the very large room I'm in has an L-shaped design with 3 exit doors: 2 to the hallways that are on either side of the elevator lobby (which includes the exit to the stairwell), and 1 to the break room which exits into another set of offices. My first hour at work is the same as any other hour: I'm on the phones. If a coworker goes zombie, I have almost a 100% chance to outrun them around (or over) the maze of cubicles and get to one of the doors that exits to the hallways. Possible weapons include throwing a computer monitor at them, hitting them with my purse (it weighs a fair bit), ramming office chairs into them, beating on them with a keyboard, or shoving my shorter coworkers in the zombie's direction as both a distraction & an obstacle. If I could get to one of the fire extinguishers, I could try to beat their head in with that, too.

Once I make it to the hallway and the stairwell, I'm pretty much in the clear (I used to be a sprinter, so I bet I can outrun them, at least down stairs or on flat
