What's with the concerts?

Last night, John won tickets to go see Tantric perform at the Blues Cafe. The problem is it's on a Monday night and John works nights. Also, that's when my Circle K and SHRM (Society for Human Resource Management) meetings are. I could easily skip those though. If we can't go, I could probably sell the tickets to someone at school. I bought a ballet workout which I was doing a few days before i got sick this past weekend. I like it a lot. Hopefully it'll be one I'll actually stick with. I can go about half an hour with this one, as opposed to 15 minutes with any other workout. I was in ballet as a kid so I know how effective it is. It's amazing because it's all about stretching the muscles instead of straining them.

That's part of the problem I have. Doing some of these work out tapes for the entire 35-45 minutes can be killer. When I go to the rec center, I find it easier to exercise for an hour than I do at home. At least at the rec, I have people there, so I don't want to look like a complete bum.

There are too many distractions at home, but I hate having to wait for equipment. I'll stick with working out at home.

Yhat is excellent babe, keep it up! I haven't been able to stop craving salty, fatty foods and swallow a salad or two.. it won't kill me, in fact, it might stop the slow killing process :)

It took me a while to stop craving the junk food, but it's not as bad anymore. Actually, I still allow myself to eat some of the sweet stuff I love because I'm making the desserts from this low fat recipe book I have. Actually most of the food I make is from that low fat recipe book. The foods are actually really tasty, so it doesn't feel like I'm eating health food.
