It's enough to make you want to pull your hair out. I wish I had some great advice for you, but the only thing I can think of is to make your hubby take the remaining two weeks off of work, and HE can take care of the baby. Either that, or HE can be the one to get up with him during the night.
It's been a while since mine were that tiny, but I remember the doctor telling me that a tablespoon of corn syrup in a bottle of formula can really help with constipation. If he is constipated, that could also account for the night-time waking up - he could be in discomfort over it.
Sorry I can't be more help! If you lived in AZ, I'd take the little guy for the next two weeks!

Not that that helps you at all but of course, I feel your pain. My mother in law doesn't sound as bad as yours and I generally like her (for the most part) but she has her issues.
Anyway, as for the constipation, I don't really have any advice because Lucas was a pooping machine. However, I had friends that found bicycling their little one's legs helped out.
