My holiday wish list* (at least the things I want from McPhee.com, site for the bestest store ever)

ARRRRR, I want to redo my bathroom in a pirate theme! This shower curtain will be a good start. And the matching hamper, too.

The Anne Bonny action figure, plus the Blackbeard action figure, for decorative accent.

Of course I'll need a wastebasket and bathmat, and maybe a flag for the wall. I think this domed lunchbox would be great for ( Read more... )

I am mildly sadded by the hamper. When it said pop-up pirate hamper, I was hoping for something a little, erm, scarier. NEW PRODUCT IDEA FOR YOOOOUUU MCPHEE!

Duuuude, a pirate in the box!

Actually, they're really handy items. My folks had a couple they used when they were on the road working and living in their RV.

Actually, I'm fairly certain the bear doesn't come with the set; they've just included it in the photo as a focal point for the victims' horror and shock.

I like the B-movie victims.

Perhaps a cutlass shaving kit would round out the pirate decor nicely.

I did find a rather fetching cutlass at McPhee last time I was there. I bought it for Chris's mannequin, Roy, who lives on his boat with him. Roy is dressed as a pirate in honor of Halloween.

Oooh! Oooh! Lookit all the pirate stuff! *wants*

(I've been on quite the pirate kick lately. Finally gave in to the pirate halloween costume urge, but it's still not quite right. Partly because I can't find a decent hat at a decent price)

McPhee has pirate tricorn hats, although I don't see them on the website. I have to go up there on Friday for their annual blood drive, but that may not be soon enough for me to send you one. Hmm, you might call the store itself and see if they'll mail you one.

I think it'd be adorable to go as Mrs. Blackbeard and wear that cute apron!

Yeah, since I'm wearing the costume to a party on Saturday, there really hasn't been time to do anything non-local. It's lovely of you to suggest it, though! I found a cool red bandana with skulls on it on sale at wal-mart, so I'm going with that. Costume is shaping up rather nicely, actually (and rather more revealing than I'm used to *blushes* (which is still not all that revealing)).

Mrs Blackbeard would be really cute. :-)
