It seems like the only time I ever post here is when we have a massive rain event in Auckland. Of course, that's not all that rare. The current atmospheric river is the third major flooding event in Auckland this yearThis is not business as usual. In fact, it's the first major flooding we've had for decades

Hope you made through it ok. I was lucky as the house is on a sloping section. My big inconvenience was the very very long commute home as bus services got screwed up.

Argh! I work from home so I managed to sidestep that, but it looked horrendous.
