my mother basically just told me, in not quite so many words, that you need to wear makeup to get a man. i swear to god i could cry and i'm not sure if it's because a)i feel so differently than her and i can't understand the way she thinkgs or b)i'm not willing to paint my face every day to 'hook' a man so i'll never have one...

dilemma:

i don't trust anyone in the world except Erin to cut/colour my hair, but i don't have the time and/or money to get to London for her to cut it. there is one guy in mississuaga who is quasi-good and i supppose i will have to settle with him for the cut, but what about the colour???? finding a good hair dresser is so, so hard.

i'm home.

also, it's probably a good thing that i'm going on a trip where i'm going to be in the car during the day because i'm getting seriously, SERIOUSLY addicted to Starting Over!

moral of the story is...i'm bored when i have nothing (and i mean really nothing to do)
