I'm excited for you. Also, worried about LP, but what else is new? Have you seen the shirts?
Oh, and OH MY EFFING GOD, I kind of hate you for the sxsw/breeders thing. I saw them in '92 at the Capitol theater and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen. So good. Soooooo good. Get me a Breeders shirt? LP said you guys were talking about buying me a bottle for the shirt design, but I could get a bottle for myself...but I can't as easily get my own Breeders t-shirt and would LOVE one for payment. I bought one at the Olympia show...it was red, long sleeved, and had a coathanger printed on the front...but I couldn't find it after I got home from the show. 2 months later I was in my dad's pick-up truck, moving out of the Tacoma house I'd been living in, when I saw something red in the ditch across the street. When I ran over and looked, I realized I'd dropped it when I got out of my friend's car after the show. I wore it for years after that, bleached out spots and holes and all.
I have only had bad experiences of SoCal venues, so I'm hesitant to suggest anything. The Anarchy Library in Downey and the Doll Hut in Anaheim were, at least, willing to book a random band without expecting us to pay to play.
Wait, I just remembered: Pappy and Harriet's Pioneertown Palace. Contact them. That place is amazing. It's fifteen miles or so north of Joshua Tree. You'll like it. pappyandharriets.com ... You can say Feed & Seed sent you if you feel like you need a name to drop, but it probably won't mean anything to them.

How many of you are there? Do you need a place to crash in ABQ? I have a pretty pink trailer!

I lost it for good, in the divorce.
