The ones I have when I got married first time, and with the kids are still at the ex's, I put them into albums, to keep them safe, but when we split he kept them. I may have to ask him if I can 'borrow' them to scan them. Millie, sadly doesn't know he keeps them, so can't snaffel them for me.

I gave my ex back all the ones taken at his family occasions - kept all the official ones as either I or my parents paid for them.
