Most people get off on sex talk. I get off on DNA talk :) And PERL talk. I guess this is why I married a Linux sysadmin/programmer/ham radio op. I kid you not, while we were dating I made him whisper sweet nothings to me. In Morse Code.
I think if there was an award out there for Weird Nerd, I'd win it. I actually really totally enjoy my geekfest work.
hahaha I love DNA and the intricacy of it, but with my lack of ability to understand higher math or how math relates to other things...high sciences to are like the song that's stuck in your head but you can't quite recall the lyrics so you can't google and go download and listen to get it to make sense/stop. *sigh*
This is true. I always adored math, it was like an elaborate game to me. I am thankful at this point that I diverged to computer science for awhile then came back to biology, I think it helped me with a new perspective.
At what point did math become difficult? I did an internship with a math ed instructor a few years ago for $$, learned a few interesting things about how people learn differently and that different teaching methods often help. ie.. its them, not you.
