The first day Ianto gave Jack an apple as an afternoon snack, Jack thought nothing of it.
The second day, Jack figured Ianto had just bought a small bag of apples and wanted to use them before they rotted.
The third day, Jack figured Ianto was on a health kick. He didn’t care; he liked apples and watching Ianto peel an apple was decidedly erotic.
After two weeks, though, he began to wonder, especially after he noticed that no one else was getting an afternoon snack, apples or otherwise.
He waited till Ianto had peeled and quartered the apple, fighting the urge to grab Ianto’s suit and do some peeling of his own. “Okay, Ianto, what gives?”
“Sir?” Ianto asked innocently.
“Why all the apples?”
Ianto smiled at Jack . “Well sir, as everyone knows, an apple a day keeps the Doctor away.”
