Just a friendly reminder to anyone who might see these words. If you filed an extension on your taxes this April 15, then your taxes are due on August 15, 2005! Just wanted to give a friendly shove to all those procrastinators out there. As a friend of mine says: "Dates on the calendar are closer than they appear!"

Ever hear of the phrase "the shoemakers children go barefoot"?

I know an accountant who is in the process of now submitting their tax returns for the last 2 yrs. Talk about extensions!

How odd that you just now commented on this! It had a reason, at the time.
Yes, the shoemaker's children often go without shoes. I was at a hearing once where a pediatrician's children were being removed by the state from neglect.
