I thought all of this had ended 100 years ago. Some people don't realize that science isn't something you can vote on. I am thoroughly disgusted about this.
I think my post a little bit ago still sums up my feelings on the subject. The main thing that bothers me about the whole thing is, again, how the language and methodology of science is being abused to push this agenda among scientifically illiterate school officials and students.
I agree with you that it's fine for parents, etc., to teach their children what they believe is true. But it's critical for people to understand why evolution has been adopted by science, and why ID fails as a scientifically valid argument.
