Well, it took a hell and a half, but the new CPU seems to be working.

Nice to know I'm not the only one suffering from hardware troubles. ^_^

I spent all evening cursing at the thing and wondering why my brand new video card wasn't working. I even went to the tech support page and posted, mentioning all the tests I ran and that I was at my wit's end, blah blah blah.

I then discovered that I had just seated this little tiny jumper-thingy incorrectly. This was at 4:00 a.m. The tech support guy thought it was funny.

Which reminds me, Steef would like for us to plan a LAN party sometime over winter. I'll send out the e-mails.
