DESCRIPTION: "Holiday In Hoopersville"-An original family classic Musical!!
The classic holiday favorite returns! The citizens of Hoopersville prepare for their holiday pageant in this wonderful,wacky musical comedy.
Written by Raymond King Shurtz and Directed by Ryan Hood
Auditions: October 11 and 12th @ 6:30pm **ages 8-18 (Adult Auditions: TBA)**
Callbacks: October 13 @ 6:30pm
***ALL AUDITIONS, REHEARSALS, AND PERFORMANCES WILL BE HELD AT THE METRO ARTS INSTITUTE LOCATED AT 1700 N. 7TH AVE. THE NORTHWEST CORNER OF 7TH AVENUE AND MCDOWELL.****
Rehearsals start: TBA
Rehearsals every Tuesday, Wed. and Thurs. from 6:15-8:30p
Performances: December 15, 16, 17, 22, 23 @7:30p
December 17 @ 2:00p
WHEN YOU AUDITION WE RECOMMEND:
*Prepared Monologue(Not required but very helpful) **Many actors will prepare at least 5 monologues, so they have the freedom of choice at auditions!!***
*A picture of yourself (It doesn't have to be Glamour shots, However, a director auditions many people, and a headshot will help him/her remember you!!!
*A good attitude and ENERGY!!!!!!!!!!
*HAVE FUN!!!! (It's nerve racking enough at auditions, just relax, you will do great!)
*If you are not selected for a role, DO NOT TAKE IT PERSONAL!! There are so many aspects when a director casts a show, JUST KEEP TRYING AND IMPROVING YOUR CRAFT AS A PERFORMER!!!!!!
