Lorelai has her head down on her desk, wishing she could drink coffee.

3rd Period

She's still tired and wondering if she could get away with sneaking a cup of coffee.

She knows that Luke would smell it on her though.

5th period

She's frowning at the healthy lunch that Luke packed for her. You'd think the vegetables were insulting her or something.

Grissom comes in, looking a little guilty, and in his tunnel vision goes immediately to sit as his desk without even noticing Lorelai.

He's kind of a putz like that some days.

Lorelai has now moved from staring at the vegetables to poking them tentatively. She still hasn't decided if she wants to actually eat them.

"Hey, Gil," she greets her office mate.

Grissom looks momentarily bumfuzzled that other people exist on the same mortal plane.

"Oh, hello Lorelai. Uhhhh... enjoying your, ahhhh, lunch?"
