Piper kinda wished she could just go back to her dorm to hide, but she started to make an invitation anyway.

Lorelai noticed that Piper didn't seem to be herself.

"Are you okay?" she asked, as she wrote down the particulars about the dinner.

Piper shrugged. "I've been better."

"What's up? Did you have a bad birthday?"

Grissom comes in during the morning, and has some muffins in a bag. They supposedly are healthy muffins, but they seem edible enough. And he has the list in his briefcase, of course.

He has a headache and is grumpy though. And glitter may traumatize him after his run in with Jaye yesterday.

"Lorelai," he nods his greetings. "Ms. Halliwell."

"Morning, Dr. Grissom," Piper greeted, glaring slightly at the glitter.

Grissom says nothing, just handing her the muffins and the list.

He slips the item in his pocket and gives Piper a tight smile.
