Lorelai was in her office. She had a lot to do this morning - she had to go through the materials she bought to help Zuko learn to read, she had to work on the pairs for class that day and she had to start planning ahead for future lessons

It was probably a good thing that Zuko had no clue what Lorelai was reading. He knocked on the doorframe and waited for Lorelai to acknowledge him before entering.

"Hey, Zuko, come on in," Lorelai said, sticking her magazine under her desk blotter. "How was your weekend?"

"Uneventful," Zuko said with a shrug as he moved to sit down. Strangely enough, even that was weird.

"I suppose around here that's good," Lorelai said. She grabbed a small box from her desk.

"I picked these up," she said, handing them to him. "They should help you figure out what letters correspond with what sounds."
