Final Fantasy VIII Defeated!

So I finally beat FFVIII Tuesday at 2:15am. Actually my brother did. Man, the final boss was hard. I gave it a whirl and died 1/4 into it. So I asked John if he wanted a crack at it before I tried again. It was about 30 minutes prep time and an hour to beat the final boss. Did you know they are making a FF61/2?

Its a prequal to FF7! I cant wait.

If I remember correctly. Squall is either a reincarnation of Laguna or a direct family member. The point was that they are a lot alike. I think they included that stuff in the game to try and give it more substance. (backstory).

6.5? Really that should be fun, but I haven't played 7 yet (ducks head, don't hurt me) I wonder if it will be all prettyfide.

Well, what I got from the game is that they are only related in that Laguna was like a father to Ellone and Squall and Ellone where like siblings because they were at the same ophanage. So it was Ellone that was connecting the two, plus she was the one who sent Squall into Laguna. But I don't think Squall can be a reincarnation of Laguna because they are alive at the same time. I think I'm just going to have to nod my head on this one.
