I was thinking about the history angle after I wrote my post. You're right, it is pretty true that it's easy to fall into those old patterns. Don't get me wrong, I love how gleefully self-interested and malicious Larry is, I just get all up in arms when people mess with Michael.
The first hot tub scene cracked me up, actually. Gilroy staring laciviously at Michael while he took off his shirt in slow mo? Do you think there are many gay male viewers of Burn Notice? If so, that shot was totally for them!!
If Fi wasn't so freaking badass, I'd just have to HAAAATE her. The fact that she can look like that after a few kids makes me want to punch her in the face. You know, if she couldn't completely kick my ass, like you said!!
I love Nate. That's all, I just love him.
Mythbusters should totally do that! You should go suggest it on their website!
I happen to have gotten one gay viewer hooked on Burn Notice, so I hope he appreciates his Valentine's present. ;)
Yeah, I know what you mean about Fi. When she opened that door in that tiny bra and panties without an ounce of fat on her. . . sigh.
Nate is the voice of reason, which considering was once trying to recondition titanium golf clubs or something like that, is saying a lot.
And to show how deep my geekiness goes, now that I think about it, Mythbusters kind of already proved the mattress thing when they did the walk on water episode. Still, maybe they need to revisit that myth. . . :D
