Maddie is badass. I love the progression, that she knows who her son is now. And "he paid for my mistakes", ow.
Maddie's progression is pretty remarkable when you think about it. She's this whiny hypochondriac in the pilot, and now she's packing her pump action shotgun and standing up to the FBI. And it's been a believable, well executed progression. I feel like I should have sent Matt Nix a Valentine's day card, I heart this show so much.
And that line about "he paid for my mistakes" - I think I got a little dust in my eye. Ahem.
EXECELLENT finale. So much awesome goodness!!!! The jet ski, the gravity getting you to the ground, holding the gun to Simon (who I actually really like! HE'S FUCKING CRAZY, YO!!)...omg. ALL OF IT. Can't wait for June.
